Hello DSI’ers

Well after much hard work behind the scenes the day is finally here and we can release the new look Don’t Stay In to you all. Please bare with us if there seem to be a few glitches as certain problems can only be identified and dealt with when we release the site fully.

Find the most popular DSI events

The site now includes some great new features including the most popular listed events on DSI section on the main home page. These are ranked by the number of confirmed DSI attendees, so this now gives all you promoters something to aim for if you’d like to get a little bit more free advertising that you just won’t find on Facebook ;-)

You’ll also notice that the most popular events that you’ll see will be those that fit with your favourite music style that you chose on your personal profile. You can change this if you haven’t updated this is an while in the ‘My DSI’ section.

Where’s all my stuff Gone?

We have also now put all the different user options into a nicely tucked away drop down in the top toolbar. You need to be logged in to see this, and it will then show at the centre of the top toolbar as ‘QUICK LINKS’. Click this, and all the options that were there before are still there, but this just makes navigation much easier than the previous layout so we hope you like it.

We’ve also decided only to show all your online buddies initially in the quick links area, but you can still access the full list

The only things you won’t find in the quick links area are the bit relevant to your profile. So whether you want to access your spotter home / promoters page, or update your personal profile, these are all located to the top right of the page.

Did you make us a delete all inbox button Dave???

Yes…. I’ll say that again…. YESSS!!

One of the key new features that you have been screaming for (The Delete All Inbox) has finally been implemented today, and in just a few short clicks, you will be able to regain control of your 300 page inboxes by clearing it out.

Please only use this though if you are absolutely 100% certain that you are happy to lose everything from your inbox. If you clear your inbox we cannot get ANYTHING back for you, but this is what many of you have asked us for.

We do still recommend that you have a look where any spam messages have come from, as they will be in your inbox due to you being either on someone’s buddy list, or you will be a member of a relevant group for that comment. If you don’t want the content to keep appearing, you should leave the groups that you’re not interested in and disable the users in your buddy list from bulk inviting you if you don’t want the spam content you’re getting from them.
