Adam Freeland points the finger at Black Eyed Peas for plagiarism

Hip-hops Black Eyed Peas are in a spot of trouble after facing legal action from British DJ Adam Freeland who has accused the group of snatching one of his songs.

Freeland claims the group used the beat from his track "Mancry" in "Party All the Time," which featured on their latest record The E.N.D.

In true Twitter fashion, the DJ has expressed his anger online. He writes, "OK. Check this. Listen to our song 'Mancry'. Now listen to Black Eyed Peas 'Party all the time' WTF!"

Apparently no ones taken legal action yet but this isn’t the first time Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am has been accused of such naughties. In 2007 he was forced to drop an excerpt from "Daft Punk's Around in the World" from his "I Got it From My Momma" track by the French duo's lawyers. Tut tut, it’s about to get started!

Theres parts of the Boom Boom Pow that sound like they have been lifted from a Laidback Luke track too.

Hmmmmm, not sure what I think of this really.

Could be an innocent mistake, let's face it there are only so many chord patterns when doing that kind of breakdown, but then he does have that previous issue with Daft Punk. This really wasn't the BEP original kind of sound, so I guess they probably listened to a lot of CDs for research.

Maybe he did it subconsiouly

research.

I think we're all giving them too much credit for having expansive creative minds, lest we forget the life changing, genre defining lyrics of the song 'Boom Boom Pow'.

You'd be better off putting your head in a microwave and putting into de-frost for 3 minutes than listening to one of their tracks. Just tosh
