Q. How do I buy tickets online?
A. Buying tickets on DSI is easy, and only needs two clicks!
Firstly, find the event that you wish to buy tickets for. You can find events that have tickets available through the ticket menu, along the top.
When you’ve chosen the event, simply choose how many tickets you wish to buy, and click “Buy”; this will then take you to the payment processing screen. Enter your card details, making sure to correctly fill in your address details too. Once you have completed all your details, click on “Pay Now”. You will see the screen go dark, with a message telling you that your purchase is being processed.
Please make sure you see the confirmation screen, verifying your purchase.
If there are any errors with your purchase, you will see this displayed below the "Pay now" button in a red box.
Q. I haven’t received my tickets! Help!
A. You can find details of any tickets that you’ve bought from the “My Tickets” page found in the Tickets menu.
Tickets sold on DSI are “e-tickets”; we do not send out tickets through the post. All you need to do is to turn up at the event with the card you used to purchase the tickets. Your card details will be verified at the door, and you’ll be let into the event. It couldn’t be easier!
For your own piece of mind, you may also wish to print out and take with you the ticket receipt that we send you when you purchase your tickets. In cases of queries at the door, having a bit of paper to wave can help a lot!
Q. What are e-tickets? How do they work?
A. E-tickets are electronic tickets. They mean that you don’t have to wait for a paper ticket to turn up in the post, and let you save money on postage charges. All you need to get in to your event is the card that you used to purchase your e-tickets with.
Q. How do I sell tickets on DontStayIn?
A. You need to set up a Promoter account with us. For more information, please read the Promoter Ticket FAQ.
Q. When will you post out my tickets?
A. DontStayIn do not post out tickets, we use an “e-ticket” system. Instead of needing to provide a paper ticket to get into the event, you just need to show the card that you used to buy your tickets with at the door.
Q. How can I check what tickets I’ve bought?
A. You can find details of all the tickets you’ve bought on DontStayIn on the “My Ticket” page, found in the Ticket menu.
We also send out email confirmation of your ticket purchase. If you haven’t received this email, please check your spam folder, as sometimes our emails get flagged up incorrectly as spam. Please make sure you check your email settings. If you continue to have difficulty in receiving our emails, please contact us, and we will do our best to help.
Q. My ticket details are incorrect / I bought the wrong tickets! What can I do?
A. If you have made a mistake in the purchase of your tickets, please make sure you contact us immediately. We are only able to correct any mistakes with your tickets if you contact us within 48 hours of your purchase. Please note that we will charge an administration fee for processing the ticket amendment.
Q. Can I exchange, refund or transfer my tickets?
A. We regret that we cannot exchange, refund or transfer tickets unless the event in question has been cancelled or rescheduled.
Q. I wont be at the event, but I want to buy tickets for someone else.
A. In order to gain access to the event, the cardholder must be present, and provide the card that was used for payment at the door, so that it can be verified. This is an essential part of our e-ticket system. If both the cardholder and card are not present, then you will unfortunately not be able to use any e-tickets bought through us.
Q. The event has been cancelled; how do I get a refund?
A. In the event of an event being cancelled we'll refund your booking in full as soon as we have this confirmed by the event promoters. Please note that it can take up to 28 days for the refund to show on your account from the time we receive notification from the promoters.
Q. How can I pay for tickets on DontStayIn?
A. We accept all UK debit and credit cards: American Express, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo, Visa Delta, Visa Electron and Visa. Whilst our system is designed to accept foreign cards, occasionally you may encounter errors due to the processing problems with the foreign bank. If you continue to have problems with your payment, please contact us.
Q. How do I contact Customer Services?
A. DSI only acts as ticket agents on behalf of promoters, enabling them to sell tickets to their events. The large majority of queries regarding your tickets should in the first instance be directed to the event promoter who should be able to help you.
If you have a query with the actual ticket system, or a query over an item on your card statement that has been charged by us, you can contact DontStayIn at tickets@dontstayin.com. Please make sure you include details of your ticket purchase, your DSI username, and the last 4 digits of your card. Alternatively you can send a PM to either Gee or Fabe-DSI.
