The Departure of Steve-NRG from Sundissential!

After just one year as resident Dj and Promoter for Sundissential, Steve-NRG has made the decision to Part Company with the brand from where it all began.

I have been clubbing for many years and since I was young, I have always been full of energy. Anyone who has seen me play will have seen this, although these days, after an hour and a half, it starts to take it out of me but i'm still there dancing.

Ever since that point, it was always my dream and ambition to play for Sundissential and I was given this opportunity in 2003, whilst I was resident for Housewives choice. A couple of years later, I started to play more regularly and for this, I would also like to thank Barry Almond from Goodgreef.

In May 2007, I was made resident and to be part of a brand that I love so much was unbelievable. After continued support in the months that followed, things started to progress and I was taken on to help promote the brand. Later in the year, in November, I was thrown well and truly in at the deep end and got my first taste of the life as a promoter of one of the biggest clubbing brands over the last 10 years. At some points, I felt a little out of my depth and I felt certain aspects should have been handled in a more professional way by the organiseation. As time went on, I started to see things in a different light and was not completely comfortable with how things were done.

On a personal level, I do not have a bad word about anyone who works for or with the organisation. There have been many exciting and enjoyable times whilst working with Sundissential that I will remember. However, I no longer feel I am able to work for an organisation that in my opinion lacks effective management and does not appear to give people the level of respect they deserve.

Sadly, I will no longer work for Sundissential but I would like to thank everyone for the opportunity I was given and for the experience I have gained throughout all of this. As of this point, I can now truly concentrate in my music, my Djing career and will have the time to efficiently run our record label with my good friend Mr LT1, the way a business should be run. Alongside this, will also be other new projects that are due to be launched over the coming months.
