Music : Hard House, Hardstyle, Hard Trance, Trance and Psy-Trance
In an attempt to present to the Brazilian crowd new electronic music tendencies, Drum Trax and Never Enough have teamed up to bring to Belo Horizonte’s most important nightclub, JOY Club Lounge, the party Hazard. With production coming from Márcia Amaral and visual décor from Marcelo Marent, Hazard comes with an innovative proposal, dedicating the club’s soundsystem to one strict music policy: hard sounds! So expect anything from hard trance, hard house and psy-trance.
Our first guess DJ to be behind the decks is Rio de Janeiro’s Roger Lyra, the main precursor of uplifting and progressive trance in Brazil. In charge of the final set in the DJ Mag tent at Skol Beats this year, Roger Lyra returns to Belo Horizonte for na exclusive set, after playing alongside German trance don Paul van Dyk last month.
With almost 20 years on the road, Lyra’s been playing at rave XXXperience and shared the decks with Tiësto, during the sixth edition of Big Brother Brazil. Elected by mag DJ Sound the best DJ from Rio last year, he’s been in studio at the moment finishing off his latest track ONFIRE.
The line-up also includes Drum Trax ressies Pedra, Renato Valadares and Phil, as well as Dinamit (playing a psy-trance set). In the balcony, DJ Gustavo Leão will be spinning more hard house tunes, while Bruno Tonelli will be the VJ of the night.
So mark the fixture: 4th August is the day of exposing yourself to heavy, uplifting and addictive beats. Come along with your mates and listen to the best of UK hard dance.
