Summer Transfer Window
So as squeeky bum time draws to an end, deals are being made and transfer talk is eveywhere.

Who do you want, who's coming in, and who do you want out.

Chelsea have already got Marin, the German international, set up for next season. A very good buy IMO.

With the players we've got we should be challenging on all fronts next season

I'm not convinced... you have made a big step in the right direction but your squad is still old and dated you need about another 4 maybe 5 players imo to challenge on all fronts

'Arry gone then. Steve called it. Bleak times ahead for Spurs.

Exodus at shite hart lane.

Wouldn't mind going for VDV.

I said before, much to Steve's disgust, but I still expect VdV and Modric to go. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Defoe goes as well and then there's Bale who COULD go somewhere else.

I'd take all of them actually haha!

Modric to Chelsea, Bale to Man U.

Either way around wouldn't surprise me.

If RvP does go, i'd like to see a cheeky bid for Defoe.

I think it will be interesting to see who they can get to replace 'arry.

Whoever it is, they better get them in fast before the cream of the teams players disapear.

Also, does anyone suspect old 'arry knows something the rest of us don't about the England manager situation?

Lets face it, he's from a generation that doesn't walk away from a well paid job unless they know they have another one already lined up to replace it.

Modric to Chelsea, Bale to Man U.

I'd expect it to be the other way round we don't need anymore wingers

In what sense? He was never offered the England job. He said if he had been then he'd have taken it.

They've just appointed hodgson controversially when he was the favourite so there's no chance he manages England plus he didn't walk away he was sacked. It'll be good to have the yids back at mid table where they belong anyway, I was in danger of not hating them for a while!

LOL! Yes, let's not approach Harry, give Hodgson two warm up games to prepare for a major tournament then sack him, have to pay probably 8 figures in compensation then approach Harry.

Come on Alex ;-)

Was he? I thought his new contract negotiations broke down (which to me suggests that the ball was in his court).

I didn't mean it like that steve (although, lets face it this is the FA we are talking about!), what I meant was more along the lines of 'arry doesn't tend to leave a well paid job unless he has something else / better lined up visavie the whole portsmouth / southampton debacle!

As such I'll be interested to see where he ends up now.

The contract negotiations were basically that he wasn't going to be offered a new one, seeing as he's unlikely to be managing England, Chelsea, arsenal, man u or Liverpool I'm not sure who else is going to pay him anything like what he got at spurs. He's actually pretty fucked as he won't move from Bournemouth either so is going to be struggling to find a club!

Precisely so,

Harry Redknapp will receive £3m in compensation from Spurs which, after tax, will equate to around £3m.
