Who's going to be checking out the Marathon this weekend?

I'm going, Nic's running it and a bunch of us are going to the 19 mile area in Canary Wharf to cheer her on and have it in the boozers around there.

I was considering taking the whiskey in my sieve, but I thought it'd be too tricky.

So how was the marathon in the end? Did your missus complete it Simon?

Hi guys, I am on a weeks holiday from work so haven't been in front of a PC but turned the home computer on today to see what you wubbers were up to . . .

Cheers for asking Funk, yes she completed it in 5hrs 14 min and she's already banging on about beating her time NEXT year. Everyone's really really proud of her.

However, I have never seen a pair of feet in such bad condition. On each of her feet the toe nails next to her big toe have gone black, she had two blisters (biggest I've seen with my own eyes) on the outside of both her big toes. One of them burst the next day in her sock (she wouldn't lance them like I advised her) and it's now gone bloody and is throbbing, last night I convinced her to lance the other one and that one looks like it's drying up nicely. Her legs are stiff as anything and getting up and down the stairs is proving problematic. But today she's starting to feel better. Footwear is bit of an issue as her toes are still throbbing. And her ankles are being referred to as "canckels" at the moment as they're so swollen. But she's getting better.

But I guess that's to be expected a little.

Marathon was good! I got pictures of Arg from TOWIE!

Nic said she checked the times for the celebs and he did it in 6 or more hours.

Yupsh! I think Gordon Ramsay did ok?

Nell McAndrew did a sub-3hr run.

I'd say they all did it about 3 weeks faster than I could, so my hat is off to them!
