I always assumed the guy closest to the camera in your profile pic was you, but it's not.

Hahaha we were genuinely shocked when we realised it wasn't him!

A good example of a promoter straying from their roots to cheese it up with the pop world and it blowing up in their face.

Historically I've always tried to avoid booking stuff which may bring future shame / embarrasment to the brand further down the line.

See, there is some method in my madness..

It's a common mistake and entirely intentional.

It is bad, really bad, but the outrage online has been well OTT. Famous people turning their hand to DJing is not a new thing.

Off the top of my head I can't think of any apart from Peter Hook? Who are you thinking of?

Nigel Benn

Nigel Benn was actually a very good DJ, so it's odd he got kicked off there then. He used to be a bit in demand and did the Powerhouse CD album, which is really good. I'm surprised to read that.

Christ where do you start, Peaches Geldoff, Danny Dyer, Howard Donald, Kate Lawler. Honestly mate there are 100's, it's always been happening.

He wasn't. His friend who used to turn up with him and DJ for him was. As it turns out, the night in question at Passion the bloke couldn't make it so ol Nigie tried to wing it and failed miserably. JFK kicked him off after 45 minutes off booing, this was after Nigel Benn had come out the booth and held a bloke against the wall by his neck for calling him a wanker.

Honestly, I really don't get what the fuss is about. Can someone please explain it to me?

Personally, I don't care that it's Paris Hilton, if any DJ booked as a headliner for a crowd of that size pulled the shitty performance shown above I'd want my money back. Actually scrap that, any DJ, any sized party, I'd be pissed off and would probably leave, or at least do a shit ton of loud bitching about it. If I wanted to see someone tarted up and pushing the wrong buttons, I'd set a mirror up in front of a set of decks- hours of ear bleeding fun!

I was actually secretly hoping she'd be good at it. I mean, she must be good at something. She's proven herself to be dull in the sack, a below average dancer, a non-singing singer and a DJ that can't mix. Surely one day she'll get her big break...
Oh wait...

No, seriously who is JFK?

Or more specifically, what or who in this context do the letters JFK stand for?
