Wasnt there a magazine called CORE in the 90`s......ooooo...there was, and I know cos I took photos for them, and had them published, I also got the first 10 copies of the magazine, if anyone would like to see proof just ask. The format you are going to do, is very very much on the lines as the original CORE magazine was.

I dont think that the claim of BRAND NEW can be used, as the magazine name and format has been used, trade marked and registered. Had to be trade marked and registered as it was on national release and you could buy it from independents and WH SMITH alike. The magazine was also on the national circulation listings as well.

All I am saying is before you go to print, if you havnt already, you best check to see if you are legal with copyright, trademark and registration, as I am sure that if your not, then the owner would not be at all happy.

But if you are clear of ALL aspects, then all I can say is good luck with the mag, and hope you have as many print runs as the original CORE magazine did in its day.
I look foward to see the first copy on sale.

Hmm ive never heard of it and we did a search on the net, But im only 21 so didnt get hoild of mag's about hardcore back then.

no probs, just dont want you getting sued before you start, but please make sure you go deep on this......as the owner hasnt been in touch with me for some years, so dont know if he is dead or alive....lol....but people like mc robbie dee, slipmatt, dougal and the like have all been listed and spread in the original CORE magazine, so may be some research into the other people, other than myself, would be a good thing......all the best anyway.

hey John! thanks for letting us know! Yes there was a small distribution magazine back in the day in the early 90s, the guys from Core are aware and dealing with it all.

lol....yeah been pm`ing both of them, errr dont think it was a small distribution mag lol....as it was in major shops and record stores.......hope you ok...hope your mobile is the same as the one i got, does that make sense....lol.....

Ive spoken to a few people this morning about it, just going on what others have said , unfort i wasnt in the country back then. Should have the same num it was changed about sep last year but im pretty sure u have my newbie.
