OFFICIAL HABIT AFTER PARTY @ STEREO

Following on from our FREE outdoor event at The Tyne with Simon Baker we will all be making the short walk along the quayside to STEREO to carry the party on until 3am with the Habit residents. So no need for the extra expense of taxis and with the benefits of great views and cool outdoor smoking area.

Entry at Stereo is only £5 but look out for some advance q-jump wristbands which we will be selling at the Tyne at a discount.

i've enjoyed some amazing experiences in newcastle over the years, especially @ shindig, but this party is up there as a contender for favourite :)

thank you so much to the habit lads for your generosity in putting this nite on for us all.

hi chippy,

nice to meet you too :)

me and scott were chuffed with how good it was, still smiling now. the rain was welcome as meant the courtyard filled up and things really got going then.

don't think we have much choice but to do it again !

How about just doing a Habit ressies party, less cost / effort.

I'm sure it would be just as busy cos most people I talked to had no idea who was playing and they were all loving it anyway!

we were just saying yesterday how well timed that bit of rain was. it must have been such a buzz for scott seein everyone pile onto the dancefloor like that! :)

a big thank you to scott for playin exactly the right stuff then - and to si baker for takin up the baton & just continuing to build and build it! :)

i asked sb what he'd made of the crowd & whether he'd enjoyed himself up there & he said 'how could you not enjoy something like that?' he seemed like he was buzzing as much as everyone else :)

i appreciate that this event took some putting on and the fact that it was free was very generous, but i think ppl would happily make a financial contribution for such a fantastic experience.

i said on the nite a few times that i was in shock & i genuinely was. i'd never experienced anything quite like it. it was completely magical... like everyone was plugged into something thru the music and the spirit it which the event was put on.

thanks again to EVERYONE involved in making this party happen.

+ here's to the future!! :) X

final words from the chipster...

wasn't it lovely to see so many of us out for this.. ?? i assume diddy & mandy were there.. altho i didn't actually see them.. but i have to say that there was a distinct lack of presence from the esteemed mr triplow (tho understandable on account of it being kelly's b'day) and our long lost beloved brettly (where are you...???)

one of these days we will hopefully have full attendance!! :))

Hi All,

As you know I dont post much and when I do I tend to go on to write some epic sentences. I'll try and keep it short and sweet.

Seriously Saturday literally blew us away. Really cant put into words what I thought of it. I knew it would pull a few people down; many had talked about it and loads of people I knew said they were going but when you're putting an event together all you can do is hope for the best.

We wanted to do this for free as we alway said that this year we would try and do things a bit different. Last year we left a venue with nowhere to go and no idea what we were going to do. So far its been the most enjoyable year Ive had in putting on Habit with Danny.

Before I start going into ranting territory I am going to stop.

Thank you all so much for coming down. It really was amazing to see that many people enjoying themselves and yes I am still smiling now. Best gig we have ever put on, most enjoyable gig I have ever played, saw some old faces & plenty new and it was all an absolutre pleasure from start to finish.

As Danny has said. We will be doing it again. Without question!

PS: Lovely to meet you chippy chick. Hopefully see you at the next thing we put on :)
