Guys - please remember the site rules regarding NSFW images - nudity is generally not considered safe for work.

I do not want to have to ban people for posting Not Safe For Work images but it seems I'm going to have to.

Just to bring this to discussion:

Your comments will be deleted if they:

* Contain 'hardcore' pornographic images
* Contain 'shock' photos NEW
* Have racist content
* That contain homophobic content
* That are repeated in many threads
* Are obvious spam - e.g. pyramid schemes

and then this post by yourself:
Guys - no photos depicting masturbation, erections, or other NSFW things please.

Pornographic images has always been covered by it's own rule as per the exert from the rules above. why are you now trying to swallow up artistic nudity into the 'shock image' rule? Having a some tits artistically depicted as per my good conscience/bad conscience image deemed as NSFW seems slightly OTT particularly when you can browse a few galleries on here and see things with a much more pornographic nature.

I'm not challenging the rule just asking for clarification seeing as my previous two questions were seemingly completely ignored.

just asking for clarification

The clarification is above your selective quotation:

If you are posting an image that could be classed as "not suitable for work" then please LINK to the image and add put (NSFW) next to the description of the image. NEW

(My emphasis)

Where I work viewing nude art on the internet is not allowed. Not my rule, someone else's. But that does mean that nudity = NSFW.

But viewing equal amounts of nudity in an event gallery is allowed as per the rules of your workplace? So (still clarifying here) if i link to one of the pictures from an event gallery in which some nudity is featured it'd be a rule break?

I suppose browsing DSI at work is OK is it?

As it happens - yes - "reasonable" access of social networking sites is allowed where I work. Nudity isn't. Like I said - they aren't my rules and I don't pretend to understand them.

Come on guys... it's a bit obvious isn't it. A lot of us access this site at work in our spare time and we all know what is, and is not suitable to be viewed on a commonal garden office work computer.

I love this thread, can we stop spoiling it now with pointless rule questioning, and get on with posting random crap please!

I'm merely clarifying the rules Paul so that i can partake in the thread in the correct manner. Surely if the rules are open to interpretation as per workplace/computer then we'd get stuff like certain flags being banned by certain mods as per certain communist countries? I'm honestly not sure as to where else to question the rules for this thread bar in this thread. I originally posted the image based on Iain's previous post and then i felt the goal posts changed so now i'm seeking clarification. I'm merely asking at this point whether the thread follows the rules as per the rest of the site or whether there are stricter rules in this thread. Surely that's not ruining the thread? I mean i'm only trying to post some of my favourite artwork.
