OK guys, I’ve been asked by quite a few people wanting to buy tester kits, which one to get, because the website can be a little daunting to those that have never ordered one before. Whilst I’m not in any position to recommend one particular kit over another, this thread is to give people a little guidance as to what might be useful and would could be a waste of money for them.

ALL PURCHASES SHOULD LAST FOR ABOUT 70 TESTS AND THE COST INCLUDES POSTAGE AND PACKING.

MARQUIS TEST - €20
This is the most basic kit and will help detect Ecstasy-like substances such as MDMA, MDEA and MDA, as well as DXM, 2C-B (hallucinogenic drug) and speed.

MECKE TEST - €20
This test also reacts to Ecstasy-like substances, as well as to DXM and the 2-CT-xx family of drugs.

MANDELIN TEST - €20
This test also reacts to Ecstasy-like substances, as well as to ketamine, PMA nand speed.

XTREME KIT - €35
This is a COMBINATION kit which includes the MARQUIS, SIMONS and ROBADOPE tests. (SIMONS and ROBADOPE are not available separately). You do your normal test with the MARQUIS agent and then, with the other two bottles, you can begin to test to see what other substances your pill has been mixed with, such as speed and PMA.

COMPLETE - €45
This is just simply a package containing everything above.

The most widely used kit by your average recreational user, is the MARQUIS TEST KIT. The only difference between that and the Mecke and Mandelin tests is the additional substances that can be tested for.

However, most people are primarily interested in establishing whether their “product” is Ecstasy based or not. So for €20 or about £15, you are able to test about 70 pills to establish whether the core product is Ecstasy based or not. Bearing in mind the quality of the pills on the market (or lack of it should I say) in the past 12 months, these kits are extremely useful in putting your mind at rest before going out for a weekend.

Anyone wanting to test their pills for anything else, should just take a look above and see what additional substances they want to check and then purchase the tester kits accordingly.

You just scrape a small amount of the pill off into a tiny pile of powder and put a few drops of the liquid onto the powder. It then changes colour depending on the result. You lose virtually NONE of the pill itself in the testing process, as the amount required is tiny BUT, needless to say, the actual bit you HAVE tested CANNOT be consumed afterwards .... Just thought I'd clarify that :o)

If you want to be able to screen for almost any type of drug: this is the one!

Never used them, so not sure about reliability but price looks good.

That is VERY misleading. I actually have this tester kit and there is no way it will do that. It certainly doesn't test for "virtually everything" and won't do 500 tests. All bottles are 5ml. bottles which will give you about 150 drops. Some tests require 2 drops, resulting in about 70-75 tests, especially for those using all the reagents to determine what else is in a particular pill. The XTREME combination will do about 70 tests and then the other individual tests of MECKE and MANDELIN will only do about 70-100 tests each ....
