Gatecrasher’s infamous Red & Black party will be back on Saturday 25th October, at the Carling Academy, Sheffield. Gatecrasher are offering you the chance to win 4 x VIP tickets to this event and all you have to do is tell us your top 20 all time favourite Gatecrasher tracks spanning over the 15 years of Gatecrasher,

We want to know what tracks have you bounding for the dancefloor. The tracks that have your hands in the air. And the tracks that, every time you hear them take you back to that Gatecrasher moment which changed your life forever.

Competition entries will be marked on track selection which defines best, Gatecrasher Past, Present and Future.

Gatecrasher will be releasing a new album towards the end of 2008, which if you win could see your favourite track listing compiled onto Gatecrasher 1993-2008.

I'm inclined to think it's just a red and black theme rather than music from the red and black era.

Hi all sorry for probably a stupid post but is it a dress code to this even and the 15th? Not been to a Crasher event before mainly due to magna being out of reach money wise and not being old enough...however the 15th will be my first Gatecrasher event and i can't wait :)

A) Just wondering if there is a dress code..will i be ok in t-shirt jeans n trainers?

B) The Red & black party do you have to go in a red & black top?

There's no dress code for the 15th Birthday, T shirt and trainers will be fine, I'm guessing that red and black you will have to either wear red or black not just red and black, imagine a club full of dennis the menace look alikes! lol


There was a Wet-Disco night on new years eve 2002, dress code was blue and white as there the main colours on the albums. It was a quality night until Guy Ornadel for some reason playing the last 2 hours decided to play loads of current tunes and ruined the atmosphere, still a good night tho.

The last red and black night most people made an effort... but you would get in with a red and black top!

Awesome news - the last one (2004? 2005?) was immense

they used to be strict as fuck abt the red and black theme!! esp the first couple infact even at the last un, 25th may 2003 if i remember correctly. loads of people went in red and black for the first of the 'many' classics night cos people were unsure if it was an actual red and black night or not.
