Darren was actually beside himself at being awarded three different awards at this years Westfest!

Darren Styles wasn't the only person to get reconition for alot of wok in the industry as DJ Hixxy picked up this award, and better still he dedicated it to John Peel! Respect for that Hixxy!







Best Hardcore MC:MC Storm










Congratulations to MC Storm on maintaining his title as best hardcore MC! With his well known lyrics, awesome stage presence & voice sratching skills, he really has proved to be second to none!










In full effects, representing the sounds of Essential Platinum, Dougal and Gammer played an awesome set!









They always know how to please the crowds, and their set at Westfest 2006 was no exception! Well done guys!






Awesome live vocals were a fitting touch to this event, with vocals to 3 tracks played by DJs Sy & Dougal!






Not to mention Darren Styles performing live unaccompanied vocals to:
Hardcore Heaven's Best Hardcore Tune 2006 - "Save Me-Darren Styles" Whilst collecting his third award of the night!








Big respect also goes out to MC Whizzkid, for his contribution to the night, MCing in an eclectic manner we have come to know him for, sharing once again all the sounds of his unique electrik samples!







Massive respect also for DJ Sy, winding up the night in true style, scratch battling with MC Storm!
Storm taking this opportunity, having just received the award for Best Hardcore MC 2006, to show off his finest voice scratching skills!


Despite the venues decision to kill the sound equipment during the shout for DJ Sy, the response was phenomenal, with thousands of hands in the air, whistles blowing, horns blowing, and generally a massive ammount of noise being made, to show the ravers true appreciation of the night and his set!

i didnt see anyone, i was in my own little bubble lol wen we were on our way back the coaches had to take a detour as there was an accident on the road! anyone else see it ??? i swear i wasnt tripping hope it wasnt anyone from westfest!
