Yep, the pie charts we have all been waiting for came out whilst I was away and boy are we delighted to have a slice of them. I know, I know, this voting game is to be taken with a pinch of salt (make that a savoury pie then) but it's really great to get some kind of recognition from 'the scene' after all the work that has gone in. Having kept our heads down and got on with things rather than chase the publicity treadmill or bump up the database, it's just awesome to have still made our mark on it and boy whatta mark: an underground party in 4th place after some pretty hefty megabrands - that's just a laugh innnit??!!! :OOO Woo-hoo we love the Trojan stealth technique, f*** the rules!!!!

So we can only put that down to the strength and loyalty of our following then, so for that we truly thank you. xxxx It got me thinking of the time back when we started all this and - now here's a secret - we'd never even been to a breaks night nor did we know anyone on the scene, I don't think I even knew about a scene back then! We were just playing the music we loved amongst friends and possessed a burning desire to share it and all the rest has been infectious contagion - one of the nicer viruses perhaps! It was not easy to get a foothold in there as 'outsiders' so not only is it great feedback for us but hopefully it will help make our job a whole load easier in getting DJs to come and play for us now, so we hope C64 can continue to go forth and flourish from this...

Mind you the phone hasn't rung YET... ;-)
