Hi All,

Elev-8 is back once again with yet another mouth watering line up of national and local talent for your listening pleasure, set as always in the ultra friendly party atmosphere of Mustard, Norwich’s premier underground venue. This time we have a monumental breaks line-up (Thanks to Clin) that’s so good we have moved breaks upstairs to the larger room!

//Upstairs - Breaks

Headlining upstairs will be Mixmag “Future Hero” Janette Slack who’s been smashing up clubs all over the world, and currently has residencies in London for Torture Garden and Platform 12. Janette has played guest slots alongside every major breaks DJ and her productions are also a force to be reckon with. Her latest production “Red Ramona” out on Air Recordings has been a huge success and many of her past productions have been highly rated. If that’s not enough she also won the prestigious Denon DJousts competition and was also nominated for “Best Breakthrough DJ” at the international breakbeat awards. Janette is in huge demand, so we are incredibly honoured to have her come grace the decks in for Elev-8 in Norwich and we are sure to be in for one hell of a treat.........to say the least!

We also have huge support in the form of the boys from AWE Soundsystem of Supatronix & NSB radio fame (not sure why we have them back, they were a pain in the arse last time!), no introduction is really needed if you where at the last E8 these guys are wicked. Following on we also have HedFlux with over 15 years worth of DJ’ing experience covering clubs up and down the UK. His new track 'Music is My Weapon' has been signed up by Sinister Records and is already making an impact in the breaks world this set is sure to be something special. Celsius Breaks will continue the quality trend with some back to back Ableton and CDJ madness. Not only are these guys residents on brap.fm but with dates up and down the UK they are in heavy demand! Plus another blinding breaks set from Unique Music's Jack Barham his set at the last event was an absolute blinder.

As always to round the room off we have our resident breaks monkey Clinical Beats (who’s taken a break from Clin’ing people to be with us, although the Clin’ing will continue shortly after.......beware AWE! Remember last time?) his hi-tech Ableton set always impreses with effects and sampling on the fly.

//Downstairs - All things dirty!

Downstairs the line up is just as hot playing pure uplifting electro filth this time with headliner Sneal from the famous underground Throb parties in London. Sneal has been heavily involved in the industry since 1993 playing clubs up and down the UK and holding residencies at London’s Turnmills and Escapism before becoming a member of what is now known as the Throb Tag Team.

Supporting Sneal we have local legends the Rhythm Punkz. With Jonezy just returning from Yes Club in China & Rob returning from 2 months tour of Australia playing alongside the likes of Dirty South & Ian Carey. With future releases “Soho Love” & “Automatic” due on Elev-8 records very soon these lads are going to be massive in 2007. Elzo & Phil B will be showing us that decent music can still be mixed on vinyl with pumping uplifting electro set, these guys have been rocking parties all over Norwich! Carrying on we have the Norwich dirty duo the Spin Monkeys who have taken some time off from “Overdosing” to give us all a taste of there filth.

As always Elev-8 residents Joey-P and DaySleepers will bring the night to a close with some hi-energy filth and some exclusive productions we really can’t wait!

//New Terrace @ The Mustard Lounge

The Mustard Lounge is also undergoing some changes with the opening of roof terrace chill out area meaning larger capacity, and lots more improvements to what is becoming Norwich’s premier venue for underground dance music.

//Late Licence Till 4am

As we have such a massive line-up and as its also Sophie's Birthday bash we have got an extended licence to 4am upstairs so the breaks madness can go on for a whole extra hour!

Sorry chap we are not putting on any coaches but the train from London is only £12 return (and drinks in Norwich are dirt cheap compared to most London prices so it will still be a cheap night out.
