Keeping you safe & secure at HTID in the Sun


***WARNING*** This is the most important statement you MUST read regarding HTID in the Sun. ***WARNING***

We want you to enjoy your hardcore holiday! By enforcing a few strict rules we know you and the others around you will get the most enjoyment out of your HTID experience. This is a SERIOUS WARNING TO ALL – please fully read and understand the following:

- You have spent your hard saved cash on a holiday, so don’t chance being kicked out of the club and hotel for going overboard with alcohol or illegal substances. If you are excluded from the holiday because of over indulgence HTID will not pay for another hotel for you, nor will you receive a refund.

- Everything in moderation is the safest way of not making a complete tit out of yourself!
To have your questions answered or for trustworthy information about the effects of drink and drugs go to www.talktofrank.com. If you do overdo it with either alcohol or illegal substances and become out of control or unable to communicate/walk and HTID staff or Security staff have to intervene you will be dealt with and ejected from the club. Your wrist band will be removed for that night and you will receive a red band the following day. If it is a serious misuse or abuse of alcohol and/or drugs you may be removed from the event for the remainder of the week. This is for your safety and the safety of those around you. You may also be handed over to the authorities for them to deal with.

- Remember this is a 7 day event! Pace yourselves, conserve your energy throughout the week and remember that you are in a hotter climate than you are used to. It will be easy to become dehydrated, so please remember to take regular drinks of water at all times. PLEASE BE ESPECIALLY CAREFUL ON YOUR FIRST NIGHT. We do not want you to ruin your entire holiday by overdoing it as soon as you arrive on your holiday.

- Whilst staying in resort please be advised that any over indulgence with alcohol or illegal substances to the point that you become a nuisance to other ravers, locals or staff will be dealt with accordingly. We will not allow one person that’s gone too far to ruin the night/holiday of others. If you are found to be causing a nuisance during the day your yellow band will be removed and you will be excluded from that day and that evening’s event. If you cause a nuisance in the evening you will be ejected from the venue and you will lose your yellow band. Once you have sobered up the next day you will receive a red band in place of your yellow band. A red band is your one and only warning to curb your unreasonable behaviour.

DO NOT TURN UP TO THE VENUES DRUNK OR OUT OF CONTROL, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN!!!!!!

Having a yellow / red band system in place doesn’t give you license to cause trouble just because you think you will have a second chance. We will not tolerate bully boys & girls or bad attitudes any more in Spain than we do in the UK. Any extreme or serious incidents will mean you instantly get removed from the event and from your hotel without a second chance red band. Depending on the seriousness of the problem you could also be handed over to the local authorities.

Any reported incidents on the resort or at your hotels for wilful damage or destruction of property, loud/thuggish behaviour or disrespecting other people or families also staying on resort will lead to your band being changed to red or, in certain cases, immediate removal of bands with no second chance. You will also be ejected from your hotel and the events & reported to the local authorities.

This is a holiday resort used by families and holiday makers who have also spent their hard earned cash on their holiday break. Please respect other peoples’ wishes not to have loud music being pumped out at the swimming pool, in your room or on the beach. We have our own exclusive beach bar where you can soak up the sun and the hardcore without causing a nuisance to other holiday makers.

When returning to your rooms after the night’s entertainments please have the courtesy of keeping your noise to a minimum and STRICTLY no music or after parties. ANY BREACH OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EJECTION FROM YOUR HOTEL & THE REST OF THE EVENTS. HTID’s own UK security team and UK staff are on call 24x7 to deal with problems reported by any hotel managers to ensure that this rule is obeyed.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE SPANISH POLICE & SECURITY GUARDS WORK UNDER VERY DIFFERENT RULES TO HERE IN THE UK. THEY CAN AND WILL USE SERIOUS PHYSICAL FORCE TO CONTROL BAD BEHAVIOUR. THEY CAN ALSO IMPRISON YOU FOR AN INDEFINITE AMOUNT OF TIME WITHOUT CHARGING YOU! IF YOU DON’T WANT TO GET BANGED UP IN A SPANISH JAIL AND BECOME SOMEONE’S BITCH, RESPECT THE OLD BILL AND SECURITY OVER THERE AT ALL TIMES. HTID WILL NOT BE BAILING PEOPLE OUT OF JAIL WHO HAVE COMMITTED A CRIME – YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

If you receive a red band you must treat this as your one and only warning. Receiving a red band is serious and must be viewed as such. If your red band is removed, that’s it. Your holiday is over.

It should also be noted that we have the full support and co-operation of all of our partner promoters with these important safety rules. If you are removed from the venue or your hotel please remember we have your full names and photographs on file. You will be banned immediately and permanently from all of these events:

HTID, Raver Baby, Natural Born Ravers, Vibealite, Fusion, Old Skool Til I Die, The Harder They Come, Freeformation, Delerium, Elation, Spunky, North and Addiction

Please also remember that these important safety rules continue until you depart from Lloret de Mar – they do not end when HTID 22 finishes on Monday morning.

One final note: These rules are for your comfort, safety and enjoyment. We want you to have the best holiday possible and we want to do it all again in the future. If you cause problems in the hotels, the venues or the resort we won’t be allowed back to Lloret de Mar again and we can’t have that!

WARNING CAR HIRE & MOTORCYCLE/MOPED HIRE

If you must hire out a car or motorcycle/moped, please be especially careful. The biggest reason for the death or serious injury of foreign nationals in Spain is car and motorcycle/moped accidents.

DO NOT drive when you have been drinking or taking drugs. DO NOT lend your car/motorcycle/moped to any other person. DO NOT overload your car/moped/motorcycle with passengers.

DO wear a cycle helmet at all times if riding a motorcycle/moped. It is now a legal requirement in Spain to do so. You WILL be fined if you do not adhere to this. DO make sure you rent from a reputable hire company. DO ensure that you are fully insured. DO ensure you keep the vehicles keys with you at all times. DO make sure you are aware of Spanish driving laws, they are different to ours.

BE CAREFUL – YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

ROAD SAFETY – DRIVERS & PEDESTRIANS

Please take care on the roads and pavements in Lloret de Mar. Spanish road laws are totally different to those in the UK. The last thing we want to happen is for someone enjoying their holiday to be injured. Please take extra care on the roads!!
