This month Delete is very proud to be welcoming a truly special artist to Bournemouth, leading the newly awakened minimal hordes down yet another avenue in the spectrum of underground techno and house. Flying all the way from arguably the heart of deep bumping beats, Berlin, we are very proud to have the mighty Audio Werner in town! July 13 is the date and it promises to be yet another lengthy session into hypnotic grooves and twisted soundscapes, but with that feel-good funky Werner twist.

Andreas Werner started producing music way back(ish) in 1996, but it wasn't until 2004 that he hit the scene on an international scale. He launched the excellent Hartchef Discos imprint with two friends, and then came a shedload of top-shelf singles and EPs, from the sweet bounce of 'Still Jackin' to the percussive rhythms of 'Just Dar It!', released on one of Delete's favourite labels, Trapez. As well as all that, he released the excellent 'Onandon' EP in 2006 on the mighty Perlon, a sure sign of quality if ever it was needed.

Pseudo Funk will be doing their thing like only they know how downstairs, whilst upstairs James and Paul will be returning for more of that tough goodness that you love! As well as all that there will be the usual lovely Delete regulars, the world's friendliest bouncers, and the awesome free mix CD for July, put together lovingly by Tone Def and packed full of the weirdest wobbliest techno around. Where Mr Smith's mix was a hypnotic journey deep into the unconscious, this is a car crash into a toy factory on acid, so make sure you harass us for a copy!

Need any more reasons to be coming down? Didn't think so...

See you in the basement!

Delete x

P.S Any of you that came down last month already know the excellent Alt Recordings has now launched. Head over www.alt-recordings.com to check out the first release, Not Another Net Label Vol. 1 featuring tracks from Tone Def, Mr Smith, Audio Dependent and Joe Ellis. Best of all, it's completely free!

A German DJ at Delete - shit! people will think we're a minimal night or something!

And as for the car crash/toy factory/acid thing - it was what popped into my head whilst listening to your mix so it went down, and I stand by it as a representation of the warped mindset you spend your life in Tone :D

Werner - he's guaranteed to be amazing!
