We would like to say a huge thank you to the amazing response we had to the DJ competition, we were blown away with the number of demo mixes we received and the quality of them all was superb. We spent an entire day listening to the mixes, shortlisted 10 and then listened to them all again and again and finally reached the decision that the person to play at the next nightshift will be ........

Now I know many of you have been asking when the next event will be and the team have been busy working out not one but two events, details are still being finalised but we will definately be back in the new year with a cracking third event and a massive birthday party to celebrate our first year in clubland.

(there may also be another surprise before all those - so watch this space!!!)

Well done Nik and all the others who entered, it really was a hard decision as the quality of them all was phenomenal and you should all be really proud of yourselves for producing such great mixes.

If you havent already why don't you post your mixes up in this group (dj Mixes) so more people can enjoy them like we did.

We had a great response and there was literally hours and hours for the team to go through, none painful I might add. So well done to all of you!
All I can say is don’t give up! If you are passionate about what you do one day someone will give you the break you deserve!

As for Nik, congratulations, well done mate!
Like I’ve said there was a great response and it wasn’t easy, but in the end it was a team decision that put you through.
For track choice, style and technique, we liked what you’ve got. So keep up the good work as your time at Night Shift will be here before you know it.
Not to give too much away, I know who is playing after you and I will obviously be there on the night. Feel free to PM me in the mean time.
