Christmas smasher


Mark-dubya What a blinding night this was.

May I say thank you first of all to JP and the Plush daFunk promotion for putting on a fantastic night and secondly inviting Guilty Heaven to play in the back room. It was an absolute pleasure to be involved in the event. The venue was dressed nicely, the snow cannon was an added bonus, The Freemasons were on top form and the whole night was wicked.

Wicked night had by all me thinks.

A blistering start from both Phil and Robbie. Even though set times were short, in order that all 4 DJ's got to play, all 4 played impeccably well. Phil's set was probabaly one of his finest and had the packed room rocking. Considering that the directive was more edged towards the funky that seemed to go out of the window. However the sets were responsibly played and the those in the room loved it.

Robbie showman as ever was fully animated, even he was lagging slightly during the lead up to his set :-), didn't see your pro-plus or full fat coke anywhere !

Frenchie picked up nicely throwing a few nice vocals to give back that slight funky edge. A few great basslines in there to drive the system well, and I have to say the backroom does sound pretty good. A good mix of funk and dirt was the order before letting Ian close the session and the room. A good selection of plastic platters for the ian, possibly let down by dodgy carts that gave a mildly muffled sound, the main room was sounding slighly muffled as well it has to be said. You usually take your own cats Ian what happened?. That said that didn't detract from the tunes played.

Well done one and all and many thanks for those who travelled up with us and to Rob Hatton and co from London for joining us, we hope it won't be your last outing.

We will be returning to Pacha in 2008 thanks to Plush daFunk, in between the other big gigs that we have lined up.

was definately difficult trying to make an impression in only half an hour & would of sold my granny for a bit longer on the decks but seein as she wasnt there i was more than happy with what i did in time i had :0) just wish some1 would of given me a nudge and told me i was pullin funny faces!!!!!! really looking forward to going bak, plush dafunk certainly put on a good night

Must have been the gravitational pull caused by the speed you were working mate! You got an hours worth of entertainment into 30 mins. Excellent!!

Fantastic night, really enjoyed it. Hell, i even got chatted up by a guy who misread my normal friendly 'how you doin' type smile for a come on! He was beaming at me from the middle of the room while i was playing!

excellent night, it was good to return to pacha, it was my 3rd visit and loved it even more as GH were playing i guess we get all proud when our local boys rock london and it seems to be happening more and more so bring on 2008. well done GH, plush da funk and pacha for a wicked night.

It's always better when your local DJ's are playing. We have quite a few outings lined up for 2008 stretching from March through to October with a couple of biggies in there so watch the GH regulars group for news.
