what was that video then last year on the global website week before it started that had that music going "When the weather man says its raining". It even had a guy on their that swore blind that it would not rain and that everywhere would be in good condition.

Complete load of bollox that turned out to be, the people running it didn't even put hay or sawdust down or wooden planks or nothing. It just goes to show that the people running Global will lie about anything to pull the numbers.I'd been going for about 5 years now but really put off doing it ever again like I said.

Im sure when Godskitchen were running it, they wouldn't make up bull stories like that.

The gentleman in question didn't swear it would not rain, he said the site wasn't affected at the time of the podcast. The weather was fine until the thursday evening and the pod cast was made on the monday.

We did put 1000's of bails of hay down all over the site, and it is still the same people running the festival as it was when it first started.

Believe it or not, it's not our intention to put on a bad event, and we will endeavour to deliver a quality festival this year.

We held a forum for these complaints and grumbles and they have all been addressed at this years Global, maybe you'll have to wait for the reviews b4 you return again, but i'm sure those in attendance this year will have a very good time.

its not the mud I minded really it was the principle of it that Angel Music blatently posted lies up to attract numbers. The guys have lost themselves no end of credability. They could of at least been more honest.

They wouldn't have needed to necessarily say look guys, its gonna be really muddy, they could have just left it at showing the weather conditions on the website. But instead there was all the polava about it will be dry as the airfield is on a slope.

Thats the very least they could have done and I was quite dissapointed

the point is it wasn't bad at the time of the pod cast, the guy walked around on site and you could see for yourself that it wasn't muddy thats the frustrating thing, The link for the met check report never left the website either,

I understand you feel bitter about it but there is nothing we can do about global 2007, it's 2008 and i'm looking forward to that, and if you're not coming I hope we will be able to restore lost faith from reviews for this years event.
