Have you seen this Re Digital?
After the recent managerial changes at Digital in Newcastle, a number of nights hosted by Digital have now left!
There is the possibility Digital will turn into something as sh*t as Sam Jacks or Box. This is because the owners of these two sh*t bars, 'Utopian Leisure', now own Digital.

Stonelove - now at Cosmic Ballroom
Shindig - now at Stereo
JukeBox - left Other Rooms, new venue TBC
Evolve - left Digital, new venue TBC
Wax:On - TBC
Turbulance - unconfirmed reports that it has moved to Stereo.

Both the Digital Newcastle and Digital Brighton websites are no longer active. For event information try:

You may or may not have heard that 'Evolve', along with many of the other 'Digital' events has left the venue. Promoter 'Richard Tulip' has released the following statement: -

Thanks
Richard Tulip"

Nothing has changed in Brighton - Newcastle Digital has been sold to the majority share holder I am told and Brighton has not been sold - so no changes to any of the nights

New Brighton web site for club info is www.project187.com

Club Project187(digital)

Cheers x

When I went on to www.yourfutureisdigital.com the other day, it went to a link on youtube of some rave in a newcastle kebab shop - found it fairly hilarious!!

Glad to hear all nights are all still running and especially Erol in May :)

I got worried when I first heard this cause I'm DJing before Digitalism in a ocuple of weeks.

Good to hear nothing has changed. Is the club gonna do a big push with a rebrand?

Shame the name Digital has gone. I thought that was one of the best club names around. Project 187 is nowhere near as good name. Bit cheesy but aslong as the nights remain good I guess it won't matter.

Digital Newcastle was bought with funds from Utopian 18 months ago, all nights were owned by the majority owner, majority owners tried to buy it back, Utopian said no, owners pulled out of Digital Newcastle and went else where and Utopian said you cant use the Digital brand in Brighton anymore.

So brighton is unaffected!

So does this mean when people ask:

"Where did you go last Saturday?"

The response is now going to be:

"Yeah, I went to the Zap, no no not the Zap sorry I meant Digital, oh no my mistake - oh whats it called now, you know the one on the seafront"
