i've just spoken too someone in zee know and what i'm told is happened is that one of the jaxx guys is coming down to dj, rather than the full band coming down and performing. So should still be a cool night...

true. i had been inform by a relyable source that it was not Basement Jaxx as a whole, but it was just one of the guys coming to DJ for a bit. I was informed this last week, i think this may be the case!

still really cheeky i think, it should just have Simon (basement Jaxx) or Felix etc rather than giving the impression of something else. still think there will be a lot of pissed of people on fri.

Its only down to whoever created the fliers not communicating with them. There surely must be an issue as Jaxx saw it fit to address it on THEIR site.
I've said this all along as Shab's a mate and he said Felix was coming down with some records... No need to launch an offensive into other clubs though is it?!?!? It's not their fault YOU can't sort out your nights!!!

Right seems to me like someone just stirring up some pooh the night is SHABBS BIRTHDAY BASH HE TAKES THE PHOTOS FOR THE JAXX THEY ARE FRIENDS OF HIS HE HAS INVITED THEM DOWN TO HIS BIRTHDAY ASKED IF ONE OR BOTH WOULD PLAY THEY SAID YES THEY ALSO GAVE HIM PERMISSION TO USE THE LOGO !

THE NIGHT ALSO HAS THE HOUSE BREAKEZ A BRAND NEW ACT SIGNED TO THE JAXX LABEL ALSO SOME OF THE BAND ARE COMING DOWN .

Its a shame a few jealous people haven't got anything better to do ..
this has not been advertised as a solely basement jaxx night because ime sure there would be tickets on sale and a lot more plus we probably wouldn't get em anyway the guy is having a birthday bash with lots of people playing ,bands etc.... and evryones invited .

Theres nothing wrong with the listing and k1 has never pretended anything else than what has been advertised .

sorry martin but the posters were very missleading. Yes it did say Shabz birthday bash but it also said "with special guests Bassment Jaxx". so one automaticly thinks WOW bassment jaxx are gonna be at the K-Bar. Is abit like saying Faithless are at the BIC but really it is only Sister Bliss!

Ah well, see bournemouth hasn't lost it edge.

Shame everyone envolved in the club industry in bournemouth cant get together, stop trying to ruin each other and work as a team as the quality of nights / djs / guests and clubbers we have in bournemouth could rival many of the main clubbing towns eg brighton and london etc.

Its a shame that bournemouth has the mentality of not seeing people wanting to succeed and when they do everyone becomes their friend to enterprise on their success!!!

Well whatever everyone is upto on this weekend i hope they have a good time.
