Last Summer I had a promoter book with me to put their nights on in my club and when I enquired around town and previous places they played in I found something out I did not like

The owner of the previous club told me they had been dealing in drugs, I cancelled all nights booked with them,as I could not risk that happening in my club

Was i right to do so? coz ever since I keep getting grief

dont blame ya for not wanting it going on in your club to be honest. When you run aclub that deals with pretty much any kind of Dance music, you're bound to have some drug action in the club which can rarely be avoided. But taking drugs in a club/goiing into a club on drugs is very different to having a promoter dealing.

you definatly did the right thing,its your club and is your licence you will lose if people come in and take the piss!!so fair play.

Have to say i totally agree , drug taking is a norm of the clubbing culture and will never change,
But to have a promotor doing it is a totally different kettle of fish, if i was in Lynnes shoes i would have made the same decision and im sure as hell alot of club owners would do the same.

Quite agree, if it was my club i wouldn't want any of that!! It could ruin your club which would be awful, you could loose your licence etc

I would like to say but might get sued I am being made to look like a bad person with comments that keep appearing on DSI one appeared today so it shouldn't be difficult to work out who I am talking about

I hope as I have now put the record straight as to why they are not in the club they will leave me the club and my promoters alone

The person uses the name of an illegally used substance I think in the medical profession it is a mind altering drug part of the persons last DJ name is ONIC

you done the right thing throw them out and cut all ties with them that way it will be publically known that this will not be tolerated at your club and you are doin everything in your power to keep it that way
