Last Summer I had a promoter book with me to put their nights on in my club and when I enquired around town and previous places they played in I found something out I did not like

The owner of the previous club told me they had been dealing in drugs, I cancelled all nights booked with them,as I could not risk that happening in my club

Was i right to do so? coz ever since I keep getting grief

Is there actually any proof of anyone actually doing anything or is it all just word of mouth?

Why werent the police called and the matter dealt with properly? Do we not operate a zero tolerance in town? I'd like to know this happened in every decent establishment so perhaps as we're naming and slating you'd like to tell me which club this is so I can stay away.

Theres enough bitch slappin going on over the poster and flyer wars without what appears to be almost slanderous comments being written on here.

At the end of the day you could mark your territory with flyers, poster over every rival nights poster, and get the haters out to damage respect but clubbers are going for the nights. I sure as hell aint going out to see if the promoter has an ego and attitude problem. you all want to take over the town but seem to be losing sight of the bigger picture due to greed and powertrips, go and promote your nights instead of sittin at a computer feeling smug everytime one of these shit posts appears!!!

Like i said before if i was a clubowner and a promotors previous clubowner where they had residency had told me they were dealing in drugs then i wouldnt want them doing nights in my club, theres no ifs and buts about that.

Everyone (im sure i can say this for a majority of people who has posted on either this thread or the other one thats on this forum) had totally forgotten what allegedlly happened, but it seems to be one specific promotors aim to bring it all back up again, if there was a incident with some proof that the police could press charges then im thinking that would have been done by now.
If your going to start threads where the aim is to cause a stir, because lets be honest the other thread was started with a simple question that could have been answered in google or in the promotors group on DSI.

Sometimes people end up getting fed up with digs , and feel that its time they answered their side which is why i think this thread was started.
