How has this made front page?

In my opinion this is going to offend a lot of people who put photo's forward that are worthy of front page but don't actually get put on there. Sometimes even receive a lot of "unwarranted bad feedback".

Yeh but for amatuer photographers who are starting out and trying for months to get top photo's... for a new user to come and get one in their first gallery without even trying it's.. a bit of a kick up the bum...

and don't get me wrong.. i support non-pro etc... check out my comments and you might actually see me bigging up those love-to-hate USA plur shots...

and also begin to understand that photography, being an art, is a subjective business.

hence why this



sold for an adjusted 140 million, but i doubt most people on here would give 140 pence for it

I just think its nice to see the odd unusual photo on the front page. Its nice not to see any wooden poses, something this photo is totally free from. Its just got a really refreshing feel to it. Every front page photo has its own unique quality. I think this is fun, totally free from pretence.

Some photographers should stop seeing everthing as a competition, and just appreciate things better I think. Sorry if I sound really preachy.

To be honest, it's just another front page photo of girls in sunglasses.
Nothing new or exciting; but then again, not many of the front page ones are.
