can anyone tell me if there will be a subway dance tent at gay pride this year?? i know you've had one in the past...

Hey there isn't much going on with regards to dance tents this year, just DV8 and Gale doing official dance arenas...There is however going to be a Pride March as I've been involved in organising it this year as all the different uni's lgbt's have got together to organise a peaceful protest under the Human Rights Act of 1998.

Soooo if you want to join in that then come along to Victoria Square where we'll mosey our way down to Hurst Street so there is still a gay presence within the city centre rather than confining it to the gay village :) Theme is Pride is a Protest. We can... but we can't... and whatever u feel that you aren't able to do then it gives u an opportunity to express it. No floats, just placards and people :)

It starts about 1pm on sat 24th may, so we have time to get down to the official launch at 3pm in hurst street. Normally this takes place in Vic Square but instead all the gays are being confined to hurst st so we wanna take it bk into the city centre and take pride bk to what it originally was rather than this over commercialised pissup. Which of course is still great fun ;) i might even get meself in a frock :P

aww great :D more the merrier! think we're accounting for 200 max, wanna make an impact but not disrupt the city centre too much :)
