i had a fuckin blast while it lasted.

i was very impressed to see everyone so into the music and less interested in rubbing each other on the floor. i was diggin gettin all sweaty in the middle of the crowd! ;)

steve frederick's half a set (thank you mr police man) was fucking awesome!!! those new tracks he has been producing are insane! i was lovin that!!!

I heard from Hypnotiq that the neighbors (factory) had some people come out so cops might have been called by them.

I also heard it was an illegal rave.
The front of the place was BY the freeway/highway/whatever.
Lots of cars near the place.
Loud music.

It was kind of obvious it was going to get shut down.

But that still didn't ruin my fun.

I didn't. Neither did my friends.
I saw the cops and because I was rolling in a tire and was a lost raver (wanderer), I just went to where we entered through and found my ride/friends and left.

unless you're the people throwing the event... you have NO idea what happened. that's why you shouldn't start rumors.

there are many reasons that this party could have been busted. we will never know for sure why. the promoter wont even know for sure why. the cops dont tell you why they came, they just come. unfortunately this is a chance you have to take at EVERY rave you go to. in case you didn't notice, raves aren't looked at as a positive thing.

it could happen at anytime, but its a chance you have to take as a raver. you MAY lose your money that night.. but that doesn't mean the promoter was doing it on purpose and stealing your money. NO ONE knew that this party was going to be busted.

I enjoy taking that chance.
Spent over $100 at SSD and don't mind it ONE bit.
It was super fun.

I don't blame the promoters at all.
It's an unfortunate circumstance that happened.
But there will be other raves put on by these promoters
who want us to have fun and will make their next one even BETTER than SSD.
