** How was AWsum vs. Kiddfectious for you? I had one of the best nights ever! **
Good morning guys!

Just had to pop on here and say WOW!!! What an amazing night at Ministry of Sound for AWsum vs. Kiddfectious! Firstly, what a club!!! First time I've ever been and I'd heard so much hype about it! I certainly wasn't disappointed! So plush and spacious and not too hot! Loved it!

I had the pleasure to play b2b with the gorgeous and uber-talented Jordan Suckley too! The club didn't open til later so thought I would miss my set at first but it turned out just lovely playing with Jordan! It was great to be able to set the pace for the night and see so many people already filling up the dancefloor and dancing their hearts out...that's what makes DJing so enjoyable for me!

I would just like to say a huge congratulations and massive respect to Kevsey D who came on after Jordan and myself and played a f**king AMAZING set in memory of Steve O'Brady...Kevsey was very nervous and emotional and to step up and play a set filled with Steve's favourite tunes must have been heart-wrenching but he played an absolute blinder and did his good friend proud!

Other sets I saw were Klubfiller....jesus...what a set!!! This guy certainly knew how to please a dancefloor and it was great to see himself really going for it behind the decks too! Very impressive! Cally Gage...never disappoints and this set was no exception! Mixing was perfect and her tune selection faultless, loads of new tracks with amazing basslines and her new track with BK (her intro) is a bloody corker! Andy Whitby...rocked it like no other! Truly incredible! Enough said! Caz Wood was on tip-top form yet again and Mike Avery had the Lounge seriously throwing some shapes! Only got to see first half hour of Gammer as I had to play in the BabyBox again but what I saw of him was brilliant....would be great to see him on more hard dance line-ups!

THANK YOU to all of you who watched and danced to mine and Jordan's set...you made it so enjoyable for us! And a huge hello to all of you who I met and spoke to through the night...it was lovely to be able to play and also enjoy the night socialising and seeing my favourite DJs play at the same time!

ROLL ON THE NEXT AWSUM!!!

LOVE

xXx

Hey Nathalie , was good to see you again , had a wicked birthday :o) great night at Awsum

kevsey played a blinder , very moving at the start and a packed room and a proper stompathon , id only arrived there 10 mins before it started too , shame i missed your set , i thought the baby box finished at 5 and didnt realise you were playing again.

also went upstairs to catch zoney but it was mike avery who was playing a good set, shame it was so hot up there tho , Mini minx was really good up there too , and sam 11-11 beforehand plus of course the gordon bennett experience.

Caught most of Andy Farley and Cally too which was cool ,what i saw of Andy whitby was good , also Caz wood and audio hedz plus some of Kutski and various other sets while having a wander.

Got soaked on the way home tho :o( the weather was awful

I also had one of the best nights out ever, it was AWsum with all the dj performing above the mark!
Nathalie, it was great to walk into you a Jordan playing B2B, i though because of the late opening we weren't going to get to hear you, but it was top notch, you both had me going from the start!

Two DJ's stood out for me on the night, Stevie B (Klubfiller), i talked to him about 10 minutes before he went on and he was pretty nervous, which suprised me cause it didn't show in his set at all!!! Quality real Quality!

But the set that stood head and shoulders above everyone for me on the night was Mr Whitby 90 minutes in the main room of pure brilliance, well what can i say but wow!
I was gutted because i wanted to catch some of the Audiohedz set but could not pull myself away from Mr W, i really can't wait for the next AWsum!!!

Loved it!

had a stomper in every single room not a dud room any where, which was frustrating as i kept wandering about thinking ooh i wonder whats playing next door, grrr
i have hated every time i have been to mos before, but this event line up as really put this club on the map for me.

thank you to everyone that made this the best night I have had.

and oh my god how many stunning girls were there, i nearly tripped over my tongue a fair few times x
a few in particular really stole my eye.
too lush for words!

Was not sure about the club at first but as the night went on and got familiar with the lay out had a wicked night. Kevsey your set was wicked mate well done must have been really hard looking forward to the live CD. Rhyd b really enjoyed your set hope to see you out soon mate. All the DJ s played really well and the clubbers all seemed to be enjoying it. Cheers for having me down to play Elvis and Will looking forward to HDS on the 13th.

It was a wicked event. I love the ministry of sound. One of my favourite venues.

Nat, you and Jordon played a wicked set. Kevsey D played a PERFECT tribute which was brilliant. Klubfiller played some amazing stuff...especially his new remix of Bass Keeps Pumping! He even had the balls to chuck in some hardstyle towards the end of his set.

Mr Whitby pulled out all the stops and his set just flew by, nice to see he didnt run into any hitches like the last awsum. Caz Wood (not that I am Biast!) was wicked in that third room despite somebody letting off a stink bomb! Gammer's set was going to round up the night brilliantly. He banged out some great tracks then finished early than we had expected which was gutting!

Overall though a brilliant night. Roll on the next one!

One of the best parts of the night was when Kevsey was cutting and chopping so hard that he's head phones flew off he's head! :-)

Truely had a superb time at Awsum v Kiddfectious. Was my first visit to the club and i must say was hugely impressed with it!!
Best set for me had to be AUDIOHEDZ, these ladz neva fail to disappoint me every time i see them play.
Was equally impressed with Farley ( GOD!! ) and Cally Gage ( GORGEOUS!!).

But all in all most the DJ'z played well. Respect to Kevsey D who produced a top tribute set for Steve.

Really was a truly amazing night. Nice chatting to you in the que Nathalie - although I though they were never going to let anyone in! Can't fault the night, loved every set and missed a few I really wanted to catch (namely MDA & Spherical, Adrenaline Dept and Bootek). Kevsey smashed it, listening again now. What a tribute.
