i took this image, it was a horrable image i photoshopped the hell out of it to save it because its an image of somthing that is amazeing. and dustin deserved people to see how huge this fire spit was. fact is its a better image of this happening then anyone else made, and sorry i diddnt show up early enough to set up studio lighting as the brit seems to like her lighting to be crisp sure i do to but no way she would have captured this specific event at the right time. with no light and no way of knowing that they were about to start doing fire show/ not being able to pre set up angles and adjust exposure.

truth is i almost diddnt post this image, but i wanted people to see dustins mad skill. im wondering if those brits have such rad fire shows at their parties and the brit girl is jellous as hell of our rad plur little tucson scene

Photo quality created a huge argument about the photo from love that made front page... Some people just don't understand that it isn't the quality of a photo that should be focused on, but the actual content. The moment that was lived, the experience that was shared by so many people.... Sure, quality lighting and equipment would be ideal, but get over the fact that its not up to par on your standards... It is the moment that counts, not the way it is documented. At such a great venue with this awesome fire show, I think everyone would agree that it was a "you had to have been there" kinda moment.

And a front page photo should be a good photo... not a photo with lots of fire that had to be photoshopped to fuck cos it was shit

We have amazing photographic talent here so maybe my stndards are higher... have a look in the pro-spotters section to understand what I mean.

This photo is shit, end of. If it makes front page I'll eat my hat.

So many people miss out on actually enjoying events cuz they are too caught up in documenting them. Why eat your hat if it makes top? Why not just congratulate? ... All in all, its really not that big of a deal, except for some.
People just like to argue on the internet. It's pointless.

We have established the fact that it isn't your idea of a top photo, you can move on and not be offended by what others type directed towards you.
