How’s everyone feeling after the bank holiday? Hope you’re as clubbed-out and happy as we are at the Frantic office!

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Bank Holiday Sunday 24th August >> Frantic 11 @ Koko >> 9PM – 6AM

Event

All £12 Tickets for the birthday will sell out within 7 days – just one week left to get your super cheap tickets! Don’t forget that Standard Tickets will be £25.

You can get them from:

www.ticketweb.co.uk
www.viewtickets.co.uk
www.theticketsellers.co.uk
www.clubtickets.co.uk
www.dontstayin.com
www.seetickets.com
www.ticketbank.co.uk

But at the moment we’re loving www.moreonthedoor.com as they have the lowest booking fee & offer deals like buy 5 get 1 free!

This is now our fastest selling event for 2 years (we all love a good birthday party don’t we?) and at this rate we expect to sell out completely 2 weeks before the event with no door sales – that means if you haven’t got an advance ticket you can’t get in! We’ve reduced the capacity by 500 too.

This is our last event at Koko until next Summer, so if you want your fix of old school Franticness you’d better be there.

Frantic legend Andy Whitby, fresh from rocking the Ministry of Sound main room on Sunday is our headliner for the Birthday. Find out more at www.andywhitbyworld.com

We can now announce our 2nd headliner! It’s none other than the Welsh whirlwind Frisky. She was also taking Ministry by storm this Sunday, and has been on top form at Frantic’s recent events – Hard House Heaven & Hard Nation to name a couple! She also played the first of her big festivals this year recently – Global Energy alongside huge Hardcore DJs like Hixxy & Scott Brown. She is playing at Defqon 1 in Holland this summer – for more info see www.djfrisky.co.uk. This girl is going places!

The wonderful Miss Cally Gage spoke to us about how excited she is about the birthday:
"Frantic's birthday parties at KoKo are always circled in big red pen in my diary for months beforehand, it's definitely a gig that I look forward to for such a long time and I'm never disappointed. Frantic always pull out all the stops for their events, but they just seem to be that little bit more special when they are at Koko. The view from that main stage is like nothing else - it's absolutely incredible and the atmosphere is second to none, all night long the crowd go absolutely bananas.

This year I'm sure will be no exception and I can't wait to get behind those decks. Frantic always throw the best birthday parties - so be sure not to miss it this year."

Saturday 18th October >> HHA 8 @ Brixton Academy >> 9PM – 6AM

Event

£18 Tickets for this legendary event will be on sale this week, as the £12 Tickets will sell out today! Standard Tickets will be £25.

The ticket outlets are the same as for the birthday, and good old www.moreonthedoor.com are again doing their buy 5 get 1 free thang!

Adam Lab 4 and Cally Gage have already been announced as the first headliners.

To follow time-honoured tradition the foyer will be dedicated to only the filthiest hard house! The filth foyer is an institution, and is not to be missed.

We’re not going to tell you the line up yet, but we can let you know that the 3rd and 4th Arenas are going to be exhilarating to say the least! We’ve got a few little treats up our sleeves…
If you’re one of those people who likes to be able to sit down & watch the action there’s the great main room balcony with seating for 1000 clubbers!

Andy Whitby had this to say on the matter:
“HHA is (and probably always will be) my favourite place to play on the entire planet!

I can still remember my debut HHA set back on 29th May 2004; walking out onto that main stage in front of 4500 absolutely insane hard-dance loving nutters and thinking 'OH...MY...GOD!!!'

I get the same feeling every time I play there, and in October with what promises to be the biggest and best HHA yet, I know it's going to be unlike anything ever seen in this scene before. There is no venue like Brixton Academy and no atmosphere like Hard House Academy...I can't f**king wait!!!!”

Frantic Recommends

Friday 13th June >> Frantic & Nightshift Present HDS – The Ibiza Warm Up @ Hidden >> 10PM – 6AM

Event

The guestlist is filling up nicely for this night – don’t forget to email your names to elvis@franticuk.net and you can get in free before 11.30pm.

Otherwise it’s £10 without guestlist and £10 after 11.30pm. Not a bad little deal if we do say so ourselves!

Audio Hedz are “hed”lining (see what I did there?) the main room, and if their set at AWsum v Kiddfectious this weekend is anything to go by, you’re in for a treat! Download their latest mix for free at www.audiohedz.com.

Mr Nu Energy Collective himself is headlining the Nightshift room – the smiley, happy Kevin Energy!

And if you want to enjoy the warm summer evening (well, firstly make sure you cross your fingers & pray that it doesn’t rain) you just need to step outside into the lovely terrace garden.

Awsum vs Kiddfectious

Well, what can we say except thank you, thank you, thank you. To the DJs who I think you’ll all agree played amazing sets the whole night through, to the crew and staff at Ministry for making things run so smoothly & most of all to all of you who came, saw & partied like there’s no tomorrow!

What did you all think of Ministry? We had some very good feedback on the night – that soundsystem was made for Hard House! Andy & Alex had the main room packed, and highlights of the second room were Frisky and Klubfiller.
We’ve got a few of the AvK t-shirts left, so if you’d like a memento of a fantastic night go to www.avkshowdown.com.

A special thank you must go to Kevsey D for his fitting tribute set to Steve O’Brady. A minute’s silence was held at 11pm in Steve’s memory; thank you to everyone who respected this silence.

The set can be downloaded here.

A "European Hard Trance & Hardstyle" arena like at hard house heaven would be fantastic!

What did you all think of Ministry?

my first time at ministry and its a really good club, pretty and well structured

Soooooo many good events to look forward to! Both Brixton Academy and KoKo are amazing venues that I have always had a good time at when Frantic have held events there!

I love the fact tht as one event is over its ok becuase you know there are more to look forward to in the coming months! Frantic really are pulling out all the stops for these so get your tickets early people to avoid dissapointment!

xx
