hi guys ...I'm asking for a little help..my son Aaron has gone missing ..we attended the Pam's do and went on to the after party at liquid at 5.15 am my son went for a fag but never returned..he is 20 but i am worried about him, we are not local to Norwich and this was our first visit. We had a great time so it seems strange that he wasn't around when we went to leave .plz if any1 can help plz plz contact me .I am trying to get a pic of him in the gallery

I would like to thank everyone who has turned out on all the searches and put all their hearts and effort into it without everyones help we wouldnt be as far as we are today with all the gathered info. police are glad for the help as they are streached on man power.

And why not just contact the police in Norwich instead of posting on DSI... in my opinion that makes much more sense.

I'm not really sure why people are having a go at the person who posted this, or why they are taking the piss about someone going missing in a city which is notorious for pissed young lads going missing then turning up face down in the river (sorry to point that out).

I expect the reason they posted it on here is because they were hoping someone might have gone to an after party with a lad called Aaron who was not local to Norwich and might actually be able to fucking help. And if they have any sense they will have contacted the police to see if he is in a police cell or a hospital bed which, might I add, is where a lot of people end up after a late night trip to Prince of Wales Road.

I hardly think her comment was that of an idiot for god sake. A lot of clubbers are wrecked an probably wouldn't remember seeing him anyway. As well as the fact that we don't even have a picture of him as of yet so nobody knows who they are looking for.

The police can do a more thorough search for the guy. I'd contact the police as well as this if I was worried.

i got a text passed on from a few people saying

something along the lines of:

aaron gone missing etc
police have been informed
if anyone had information please step forward

best to ask people as the police wont start a formal search for a day or so

Either way I think we should respect the delicacy of the subject and refrain from bitching at each other. Rather than question the obvious first steps you take to locate a missing person (police usually wait til after 24hrs before conducting a search etc) we should just get our buds in, wish him well and hope he turns up or lets his loved ones know hes safe. :)

I agree with that but calling someone an idiot because they suggested calling the police is a bit harsh to be fair.

i called them an idiot because they said it was asilly idea to post on here

when quite clearly its not, this would be one of my first choices if a friend etc had gone missing, along with the police too of course
