Big big massive shout to all you guys that came down and surported the COR ..

Again it was a new venue a new leaf some people were unsure about the venue and unsure about the move ... If we could of done we would of stayed at the PIER but hopefully every1 will accept the fact and respect our decision that we had to move venue .. due to increase in venue hire price ..

Me bein me didnt want to take the brand away from COR's roots which would of been to take it away from PORTSMOUTH and by movin into tantrum gave me the option to do something regular as in a monthly night 4 all you guys to come down and see what were about ..

The venue itself last night from the momment you walked in and down the stairs was lit up really cool and the big COR inflateable half way down the stairs was wicked to look at ..

We put a lot of lazers in their last night again i thought the way it looked as a venue and a whole was really impressive , alot of hardwork had gone into it and thanks to steve and ben and cheg 4 doin a wicked job , also electrik-Carl nice 1 brv ... The sound i thought was really good no complaints from any1 which is a good thing the mic and the MC's sounded clear and they all seemed to like the venue and the sound .

Hopefully people will go away again and trust COR's judgement that this venue is a really good 1 with a wicked vibe last nights vibe again was how any other COR events are / Spot on .. And THANK YOU ... again like the 1st COR event at the pier it was hard we were away from the party scene 4 a year that night numbers were down we still smashed it , LEGENDS OF THE SOUTH even better , This time around again we moved venue's numbers were alittle down on average again peeps unsure about the venue , but we all SMASHED it again last night and i hope word of mouth gets around again that it is a cool venue and i can see some good times ahead 4 the COR ...

If any1 has any Veiws or shit dont be to harsh were get onit to make sure its right 4 the next event !!!!

A massive thanks to lindz and kirsty 4 doin a wicked job on the door and gettin every 1 in their as quick as poss thank you girls , Massive shout to the boys SMITHY / FOY for all ur hard work as usuall cant do it with out you guys ... Thanks 2 all the DJ's And MC's 4 comin down and turnin up on time to give every1 there a wicked night .. Thanks to the venue staff , i will say 1 thing tho the security at TANTRUM are second to none compared to the PIER ... Big shout wicked crew to work with and the back ground staff there 2 ;) .. And you guys 4 the surport 2 with out that surport i cant do what ive grown to love and do and thats throw some wicked partys and to get the chance to play out in front of my home crowd goes with out sayin Nice 1 ...

I will say tho as a precaution 4 next month ive decided to pull RE-CON off the bill and replace him with DRUID 4 a classic bonkers set along with SLIPMATT & CHARLIE B all else is still all go and im sorry if any of you guys were lookin forward to seein him there but goin with sort of an oldskoolish night along with THE COR CLODHOPPER PLAY UP and the competition winner is still goin to be a bangin night guys ...

Well done to the MC comp the comp was voted very fairly 2 and a big thanks to Knighty and Scotti 4 doin it in the right way .. The results were

in 1st place / MC MAYHEM well done fella we will see you down at Carry On next month buddy .. on the 25th ..

2nd place was an MC that done what he had to do didnt over kill the mic didnt shout over the top of anything and done a good job and has earned a bookin with COR in the future well done MC LEGGET .

3rd place what can i say about this top geeza the MC YT no other MC is more appreciative of gettin a chance.. he was standin in 4 the absent MC trigger he got up and took the chance and has also earned himself the chance to perform at a future COR well done all 3 of ya ..

Great night guys, nice little venue too.. Plenty of little cubbyholes! Caught up with a few peeps I havn/t seen for ages. I prefer it to the pier actally, it's more homey than the pier.. (I think the pier is a bit cold and harsh unless it's absolutely rammed)

I'm sure word will get about and the next ones will only get busier and bigger each time huh!

massive thanku to smithy and paul ep for having me play last night with druid! really enjoyed myself and so did my parents :)

Thank you everyone in the C.O.R crew for a great night, a nice decent venue and as the pier have made it quite obvious they do not really want club nights there anymore that is their loss and Tantrums gain.

Hello the COR!

We were glad to have y'all last night, I gotta say what a lovely bunch you were too. Even me & the staff enjoyed the atmosphere & the general vibe.

Thanks to Paul for having the balls to come over & all the effort he put in, I know he was given different points of view by different people BUT I know we can make this a session to go down in history. We've done it before (even it the club is though of as a "sweatbox"!! haha).

For those who didn't come, just to reassure you for the future - your event is kept totally seperate from the other room/s on the night, ya got the place to yourselves.

Thanks for positive coments about the venue too! I know some of the negatives (I've been here 14 years!) but I really think that basement feeling fits the underground thing well.

I'm looking forward to the next one, thanks to all who came.
