Nope there is no Contagious Sound Stage at Global Gathering this year

Ive lost count of how many people have asked me this! lol

Global wont be the same this year! :-( x

been the highlight for the last 2 years. dont know what godskitchen are thinking.

No contagious Clubwear will not be hosting a stage at global gathering this year for reasons beyond our control xx

Well last year was my first Global and to be honest I had heard so many good things about it but it just didnt live up to my expectations, the best part of the whole thing was the Contagious Sound Stage, which even though it experienced problems and issues which were totally out of Claire and Gords hands it still went off really well, a testiment to just how hard they work and what they can do when nothing but problems are thrown at their feet but can still come out all singing and dancing and put on a great show :D

To be honest I can really think of better things to spend my £165 (Even the £60 basic Sat only day ticket is too much quite frankly). Im sure Global used to be good, that was before the money became more important than the music and putting on a good festival and of course whose wonderful brainchild idea was to put RnB / Hip-Hop artists in, not for the fact that its relevant to Dance music, just purely as a way to get even more people through the gates to get more money. Thats the kind of thinking that puts me off things like Global

The mud is the one thing thats putting me off going agen.. cuz were having a shit summer this year anyways so no doubt it'll rain agen this year

I went for the saturday in 2006 and had an amazing day but last year the rain and mud drove me crazy and because it kept raining everyone ended up crammed into the tents so i gave up in the early hours in the morning - I hope it doesnt rain this year!

Contagious was wkd last year i just remember there being crowds and crowds of people surrounding the stage continuously thoughout the day!

Shame there's no contagious this year :-(

Me too! The rain saturday night put a slight downer on it, but it was my first global weekender and i loved it!!!

Im leaving it until the week before to buy just a saturday day ticket this year. Although if they give out rain for the entire week or something i may not be bothering... x

Well Ive decded to go to global for the whole weekend even though Steve is away still, its just after my birthday so will be celebrating getting old!!! (im gonna be 26)

So fuck the mud, im used to it and its gonna be wkd anyway (well I hope so) Im getting really excited, but wish contagious were having a stage there!!!
