Approaching 30, and over 30-something laaaadies
Hello ladies...... and nosey men.

Are you almost 30 or over 30? Haven't had any snotty brats yet? Are you scared you may be leaving it to late?

My problem is I don't feel ready to have children at all by a long shot. And quite frankly, I'm scared of the whole process. The idea of a bunch of foreign cells formulating and growing inside me like a little Ridley Scott Alien is quite petrifying. Pushing something resembling a sack of spuds through the eye of the needle really isn't motivating any enthusiam to want to. Bone dislocating, skin ripping....forceps.....doctors arm rammed up you and thrashing about like he's delivering a calf. Oor having it cut out of you *faints*

I'm so used to just being me, without an Alien scuttling around, who's going to be half of which ever cretin you copulate with. Poor thing.

My quandary is, do you ladies worry that one day you will realise its too late? Does it even matter if you miss the boat? When is a good time to procreate, if ever?

of course.... everyone welcome. Just thought I would address other women who may be worrying one day they will regret their decision not to have children. Or if they do, will be too old to see their grandchildren grow up.

I`m 31 this year ive got 2 kids jordan 9yrs old and keilie 6yrs old , im sort of glad i had them when i did , i was young enough to be able to put my career on hold even tho now i find it difficult to juggle the two.

Kids arent for everyone Raa and i dont think any women should feel that they must have children, its either for you or it isnt.

My stepmum last night had her 2nd child and shes 37 , so i dont think anytime is the right time it all depends on you as a person and your health as to whether the time is right now or in a few years or if ever .

I know I want a child one day. Just one would be fine. I just don't want one yet....but what if I leave it too late? Will I regret it? Will it make me bitter? And if I do, will I get to meet any grandchildren?

And would my child be embarassed about having an old mum?

well i will comment on behalf of my Amy, who is 23. She has quite a few friends who have sprogs, some of them spawned while still teens as well. But when asked about her plans regarding motherhood.she usually says..' you must be fucking joking! i dont intend to either hook up with a bloke, or have any kids til after i'm 30, and even then, if i am happy with things as they are i wont be looking too hard'.

I, unlike quite a few parents i know, am not gonna pester her about 'when you going to have a grandchild for me' That is so unfair to put your child under some obligation to do that, there are enough pressures as it is.

No worries, I am 51 at the end of this month, Lisa Pin-Up is around your age, so you are as old as you feel.

About children, only have them when you're ready!

Look, I have only started serious Mixing about 3 Months ago, Introduced my 20 Year Old Daughter: Nina to Hard-House last August, and I hope to be Ravin' when I'm 90+!

Look @ my Profile & N-Joy the Music (if you click the Link to My Player?).

at the moment I'm too busy having a fun. A modern day woman I guess. But are we making a mistake? I think I'd be prone to being depressed if I had kids when I was young. But maybe thats a big presumption. Maybe I'm the sort of person better off without them.

I can't see myself feeling ready in the next 5 years at all.

thers no point living your life regretting things.. i think thats what makes people bitter and angry..

you will know when your ready, youve obviously put alot of thought into it... and when you say about things growing inside you and pushing it out etc... i thought the exact same.. but then when you find out its there, ya feelings change.. its really hard to explain..

When you say about being embarrased bout having an old mum.. would some children not be embarrassed by having a young mum? surely it works both ways?
