I'm new to spotting and was just wondering what this is about...

yay! I'm going to try to make this one!

A few times a year, a whole bunch of us get together (usually in london) have a few drinks and then head out in the night to take photos of a) each other b) weird objects in the street c) strange people you see in london at night.

It's a great opportunity for the less experienced spotters to meet and learn from the more experienced. And it's a bloody good laugh too.

Oh, why is this now taking place on a weekday instead of a weekend?

Most in the last year and a bit have been on weekdays?

oh ok, I've only really caught on to it since the last two events, and I think they were both on weekends, so i though that the general way it was.

The last one was a friday, but I think the one before that was on a tuesday!

Oooh another one of these - excellent! I'll come out from under my shell this time rather than just thinking about it.

Nope Saturday, though the one before that was a Wedsnesday I presume they are just random days.

Yeah... well its usually (as is the case with this one) on a date agreed in the pro spotters group, based on when the majority of the regulars are available :)

2 days after camp are we all going to be recovered enough?
