Wicked time at the o2 one of my best days out ever... But was any one at or hear fat boy slim's set at space opening party in Ibiza... It was roughly the same!!

I wasn't there but personally I don't rate him, it's like he always has his sets pre-planned and doesn't play off the crowd, but everyone else I know loves him....

I absolutely loved it, was so long that I wanted to see him and it was well worth it.

Are you joking ?

I wasn't there

That explains it all because if YOU HAVE BEEN THERE, you wouldnt have said that !

I've never seen him play before and thought he was brilliant.. One of the best days I have had out in ages.. Underworld were equally as good but the tent was just far too hot!

Very similar to the Space Opening set - the start certainly was, and there were some of the same tunes, but being out-of-it at both I couldnt remember the sequence... Still bl00dy good as ever, although a bit chopping and changing at times - just wish he would sometimes let the record playa bit more...

It's all a case of personal taste really. Likewise, I wasn't there on Saturday, but I have never really been impressed on previous occasions. Just not my thing, but hey, each to their own.

Yeah thats fair enough but if you havent seen the chap playing yourself, how can you criticise his sets ?
Me, for example, I dont like David Guetta but I wouldnt criticise his sets as I have never seen him playing ! lol

Crazy-frenchie, you should really have read Hudd's reply properly... he put
but I have never really been impressed on previous occasions
which to me suggestes that he has infact seen Fatboy Slim DJ before but wasn't impressed...

My personal opinion of Fatboy Slim is that he can't mix properly and hence i have never enjoyed his sets...

So like Hudd said, "It's all a case of personal taste"

Well, you have to say that it was rocking though, well all the guys around me (and me and my boyfriend included) were jumping and singing mentally !
For my first experience of the Fatboy, it did to me

Ryan Shaw was amazing, Sneaky Sound System shaking and Bootsy Colins grooving !
Had an amazing day :o) and hoorah it didnt rain !

I said "I wasn't there" not "I have never seen him play".

I saw him at Manumission and have heard his sets before, they just bore me a little bit that's all. Jeeze everyone is entitled to their opinion, I didn't say he was shit - I said I don't like him, there's a difference.
Anyway I'm glad everyone had a wicked time, just pissed I was too broke to go :(

Bring on SW4!

so why did you quote Hudd and not greedy-boy before writing what you did??

Anyway, glad you really enjoyed his set and had a great day... i weren't trying to piss on your chips in any way.

I wish i'd had the money to go, to be honest. but i definately wouldn't have hung around for fatboy's set...
