Its made byt the same people who done DAOC (Dark age of camelot) Still the best MMORPG to this day

had mine in since god knows when dave :)

as for best mmorpg, Ive spent many years playing WoW and DAOC, end game is so different you cant compare but from a unit sales point of view WoW not only beats all but goes back and gives them a few kicks when there down.

Im hoping that with EA's leadership we're going to be seeing a lot better update / support system in the EU than we did with DAOC. They've already commented on this saying that DAOc was never developed to be mutli language so localization was a huge problem, where as WAR has been developed from the ground up with this in mind.

Stil not sure what class I'll be rolling but knowing me i'll be going for either support or ranged DPS. shaman and zealot are looking tempting i must admit :)

Unfortunately sales doesnt show how great DAOC is, if you have played both, like i have also, you have to agree that nothing compares to the end game of DAOC.

I wont be playing GOA servers, they killed the game imo. Will be sticking to US

its standard warhammer must admit think i would have liked to see a 40k version, not that an MMORPG plays anything like the tabletop or startegy pc games.

I like both, i found WoW was easier to play unless you had a solid fixed team / guild. with daoc to constantly run PUGs(pick up groups) was an effort in futility.

give u an idea how far i got for DAOC I had RR7 BD, RR6 theurg, RR6 SM. for WoW I went a bit overboard, I ran 5 accounts simultaniosly (its called mutliboxing) useing a 4 shaman 1 paladin setup feel free to check out the armoury names are effex, kauz,kauze,cauz,cauze on magtherdon server. though Ive not bothered renewing all but 1 account, after seeing some WAR vids I just dont have the passion for WoW or DAOC i did.

From what I can see WAR has taken some of the best bit from both DAOC and WoW with instant battlegrounds for nice even team quick killing action and a real nice frontier system for huge zerg fights. sounds like a winning combo to me
