future of crank?

Phil-from-INSTILL	I knew this would start on here. The article in the paper is incorrect. Crank is unaffected by this for the time being as it is freehold. Operations at Crank will be the same until further notice. There will still be Hedkandi, Bedbug, TwiceAsNice and Revision nights. I knew this would start on here. The article in the paper is incorrect.

Crank is unaffected by this for the time being as it is freehold. Operations at Crank will be the same until further notice. There will still be Hedkandi, Bedbug, TwiceAsNice and Revision nights.

However, yes, the other 7 venues are in administration and up for sale to potential buyers, but will continue to trade until buyers are found...

HellsBelz	I think it will be a good thing for Bournemouth, it means the smaller clubs will get a look in and can put on the more specialised nights that will cater for all types of music genres. It will hopefully go back to the way it was a few years ago. There is always the OH for the big nights. Only a few people probably know the entire truth of this, all we can do is wait and watch. :) Reply Quote Posted Wed 23 Jul

I think it will be a good thing for Bournemouth, it means the smaller clubs will get a look in and can put on the more specialised nights that will cater for all types of music genres. It will hopefully go back to the way it was a few years ago. There is always the OH for the big nights. Only a few people probably know the entire truth of this, all we can do is wait and watch. :)

dafunke	to be honest im not a big time house fan but i thought seb fontaine was only big 10 years ago????? berlins = no thanks! i remember when i first went to crank and walked in when Marco V, Above & Beyond were playing!!! was amazing and packed with a great atmosphere!!! would be a shame to see this place go! and plus i think bedbug had trance balls and booked names Slinky wont!!!! i cant believe the slinky august line up (Aly n fila, sean tyas, marcel woods) i think they must of played in the uk a 100 times each this year!
