erm, i thought it was fucking brilliant, decent sound system, good line up as long as you knew where to go and knew your music - there were a lot of dud acts around of course, nice crowd in the trance tent and the weather was fucking ace :)

I saw erm on the friday:

Proteus - who rocked it majorally
Eric Prydz - awesome set
Tiesto - pretty progressive but a few trancey classics

Saturday -

Mickey Slim - awesome way to get the day going
Tyas - fantastic
ATB - better than i thought he would be, very good i thought

then had a bit of a break to go get changed/showered

Above and Beyond - brilliant
Armin - again brilliant
Ferry - fabulous, played a great set that i hadnt heard before (After hearing the same set the last 4 times ive heard him! but i can see why it might not be a crowd pleaser)

Plump Djs - shit because the bass was turned down to low but they played intergalctic by the beastie boys so i was well happy!

Marcus Shulz - nice set but again the bass got turned down so it was a bit flat

and finally (for my sins this was a stupid mistake) Judge Jules

for me,

JUDGE JULES RUINED GLOBAL! fucking awful trainwreck of a set, played tainted love as his "one more tune" not a dance version, just the normal pop version.

loved it, only went for the saturday but had a great time, 45 minute queue to get in, awesome weather, music was spot on, saw or had no trouble at all. compared to last year the only thing that would of made if better was more people i knew going.

oh yeah that was a bit of a let down, last year there were people i knew all over the show, this year, like 15, oh well it was good to meet new people!

id of also liked to have taken my camera in, but thats a different story!

also, he made a big deal out of it like it was awesome, bopping away to it, taking photos of himself with the crowd behind (Ala myspace pose), everyone was just standing there (apart from the nu ravers) with their hands on their heads looking majorally pissed off.

i should also mention that he played a 10 minute mix of 7 nation army in the last half an hour too, then some other terrible song.

so in the last 30 mins/45 mins of global i think we had about 5 minutes of trance/dance.

Knew i should of gone to see Karim instead!

we all knew it would happen aswell, we are as bad as him for staying to listen to it.

thought after some of his last sets baz ud have learned ya lesson lol!!!!!

Missed out big time!, but after last years fiasco I can understand why some stayed away!, and being in a recession (hold on its going to get worse!!).
