I want to start by saying the event itself including the sets and atmosphere were top notch.

However, after dissapointing organisation from the last gig i went to their, i was hoping for some improvement. But i was EXTREMELY dissappointed.
Main Event Ticket - Yes - After a 30 Minute wait.
After Party Ticket Yes - after a 45 Minute wait.
Access To VIP Tower - NO
Lanyard - NO
Signed Merchendise - NO
CD - NO
I asked several times at the desk AND security but kept getting told they know nothing about it. I paid £17 x 5 for no reason whatsoever. VIP's got nothing at all extra and i feel totally ripped off. And to top the night off, the Hardcore room was Cancelled at the after party, not to Energy Rush's fault i may add.

Pams house has an excellent reputation and am sure there is an explanation for your apparent misfortune.
why not contactthe event organisers direct , sometimes posting things on this yellow website can damage a secound to none venue s reputation .
it is very difficult to keep the party rolling at the moment ,given the curent economic climate

You were a VIP ticket holder?! Why would a VIP be waiting 45 mins for an after party ticket.. when the VIP tickets included after party access..

the event was so good , mark eg was brill so dj supreme , and the foam- sorry about cue but that was out of our hands......................................

i will leave danny to do post from event, but 1 thing im clad i booked mark eg for this event because peps shouting his name ect when he was playing was great , 1 of the best bookings ENERGYRUSH has ever done...................

larryg, i should have worded that better for you. I ment that i had booked my ticket just after they went up on DSI. Even with VIP tickets, i still had to wait 30 minutes then 45 minutes for entry into the venues.

I want to eloborate again, the night itself was excellent and i danced and rushed my flip-flops off. But as a VIP, i didnt get anything extra then standard or non-ticket holders.

Like i said, the night itself was wicked, but i think the venue keeps showing itself time again that it can become disorganised in a large event like this.

i was meant to be DJing after party but due to things running late i had to go on last (6-7) which i was a little disappointed with coz i wanted to get away early but didnt mind so much as all you lot had to be entertained and thats wot i live for! BUT! bloody ceasars management decided to close at 6! so i waited around all night for bloody nothing! was well fucked off!

it was due to ppl not spending enough money on the bar! and 1 security guard slated ravers to shit! i was that offended i just grabbed my records, threw my drink on the floor and walked out! something needs to be done about these afterparties coz they are slacking due to reasons that shudnt even exist!

I was dissapointed that vips got nothing at all extra but am happy can still get all the stuff promised.


I really dont see why the events just dont carry on right through the night. They just take an event from an alright venue to a cramped bar, i really dont see the point. Thought the main event was cool, had a mad 1 but didnt think much of the after party.

Top night!! but like everyone else mentioned the afterparty what a shambles, bouncers weren't impressed with us ravers, we all got chucked out from hardcore room, then the dj's who were meant to be playing walked out to. What the hell, you just dont expect to finish the night of like that. Hopefully this will get sorted for future events.

With regards to the afterparty, we were not allowed to set up the equipment until the bar closed from the previous event so this was out of our control, but I have to say we got it all set up in a matter of minutes and were ready to go when everyone came in.

As for the sets at the afterparty, the DJ's in the main room played their sets but unfortunatly the last DJ (DFect) was unable to play because the venue closed due to nobody buying from the bar, this is unfortunate but if they are not taking any money it kind of makes sense from a business point of view.

As for the atmosphere, I played for the first hour and a half and have never seen such an amazing atmosphere at a Pams afterparty in Yarmouth. Everybody was still up for it, at one point I thought I was gonna loose the equipment as everyone was bouncing into the decks, I loved it and it was certainly my favourite set that Ive played at Ceasers for Pams House Afterparties.

When I left to go back to the hotel and Thundermental came on the place was still rocking, so I dont think any of the Pams House DJ's walked out.

Its very unfortunate about the Hardcore Room at the afterparty being closed, but this was no fault of the Hardcore DJ's, the venue simply could not open that room, so they were just as dissapointed, if not more so than you guys.

All in all though it was a fantastic night, I enjoyed the sets from all the other DJ's in both arenas, I also thought the afterparty rocked.

Really looking forward to the next one :)

I know what you're saying mate but the above statement should not be used as an excuse for the club to close early. Do they not sign a contract stating what the opening hours will be? In which case, they don't have a leg to stand on!

Good party though, if it wasn't for Pams I wouldn't even be in Yarco full stop!! Just a shame that what was promised was not delivered.

Thats a crap excuse, some people go to the after parties cause they cant get home till a certain time, if it says its open till what ever time then it should stay open, if everyone has paid there money then tough shit, if it was free to get in then maybe I would cut them some slack but not when you pay. Didnt go but they were probably shafting everyone on price for drinks anyway.

i just want to put on a good show even tho the afterparty venues are a little poo sometimes! but unfortunatly these things happen and theres sod all we can do about it! no use crying over spilt milk eh?

I dont disagree it is crap, and yes it shouldnt happen, trust me, myself and Thundermental are the Pams afterparty residents, nobody wants the Pams Afterparties to be their best as much as we do :)

very true there weren't ne trains till 8 in mornin....to wear i needed 2 go. just quite guttin really was having a good time 2!

I know we all try and look out for each other but for sure I would be very unhappy if the mrs and friends had been wondering around Yarmouth looking for a way to get home. As said often the after parties are purely a stop gap to getting home if your a long way away. If they cant commit to the closing times then this may be a thought for the next event.
