Growing up I think the presents that meant the most to me were

My first (and last I think) leather football.



An AT-AT walker (star wars)



An Action Man 'Pursuit Craft' (this pic took way to long to find!)



last of the childhood xmas pressies which really left there mark

The Meteorlite Pro BMX (with Z Rim style - bendy - wheel rims).

Sadly no picture as I could only find images of its ugly brother (the Meteorlite freestyle).


In the following years after those, the festive season seemed to decend into a 2 week binge on drink, drugs and debuachery so gifts (along with pretty much everything else) are rather forgotten until we arrive at parenthood and the standard 'socks, pants and shaving cream' of the current times :)

While looking for the above images I found this site which shows alot of retro style toys, games and general tat. There were a couple of things which really made me grin (like the space invaders chopping board and supermario wallpaper).
