IMO...

"The Beginning" isn't quite up to scratch, it's got some great bits in it, for example the riff is great, but I'm not a fan of some of the other sounds & the speech sounds odd, it doesn't really fit very well & i think it spoils it. In both cases sounds like it could be the mixdown as much as anything though.

"Soul Fly" is a lot better, quite liking that one! :)

Generally some good idea's, good work overall :)

the sample on this is a 128kbps compared to 320 on soulfly, but the track really does slam through a nice system, and sounds great on my genelecs =D

i think from a production point of view these tracks are put together well enough to compare with a lot of commercial hardcore in the scene.

certainly much better than some stuff that isnt so well produced, ie. recons solo stuff which is a bit shoddy.


ill have to disagree with that one, i prefer this to soul fly. I heard it on Krafty Radio the other night and it defintly went down really well!

Soul fly reminds me of an up to date version of Dropzone haha

As I told u the other day, The Beginning is actually the most excited I've been about a tune in ages. Even got a noise complaint from playing it too loud!
