At first I was a little bummed to here that MAYDAY was being moved from Tucson to Phoenix, but after the troubles last year, I knew it was necessary to ensure the party went all night long and that there was enough space to accommodate all the badass DJ's Flowchart productions put on the line up. I’m not the biggest fan of Phx parties because they seen so impersonal and Tucson parties just have so much love and so many downass people. I went to the party with an open mind, and man am I glad I did!
We arrived at Cow town about 10:45, hit up the D&B stage first where everyone’s favorite child prodigy, Dax was tearing it up. After a 3 hr car ride, it was great to start the night off with the precision and skill that Dax is known for. Next we hit up the hardcore stage and saw a little of Cojami & Rize tag team. It was brilliant. I have so much Love those guys. Then we traveled back to the main stage, oh my fucking God. It was mind-blowing! The sound was clear and loud, Uberzone and bassbin twins were rocking peoples socks off, it was a beautiful thing! Next we went back to the Hardcore stage and danced like fools to DJ Sickx, and then saw Scott Brown breaking that shit down! It was the best performance I have ever seen Scott do. There were only about 30 people at his stage but Scott got everyone moving and made a real connection with the crowd. He spun an incredible mix of German Hardcore, Breaks, and Happy hardcore, this guy brought his A game and wasn’t going to let a poor turn out bring him down. He even shook hands with the kids and took pictures with fans. This guy is such a real, genuine good person and amazingly talented DJ. At that point in the night, I realized just how few people really turned out. I’m not sure it broke 1000 people all night. It was a beautifully put together party and so many kids missed it. Shame on you if you didn’t come out, because you missed maybe one on the best raves I’ve ever attended in Arizona. I can’t wait to see what Flowchart productions puts on next, because no matter where he hold the party, I’ll be the first one in line for sure!

heeheehee, sorry to sound so hard, but I can't believe a party of this great Magnitude didn't have a better turn out.

Bassbin Twins & Uberzone was the best two hours of my life! I was up front, dead center, dancing and screaming my ass off for their entire set. My legs are still sore!
