What size/how many pixels wide are you, looks like the resolution you upload at is too small. Try 1800w, should do the trick.

If your colours appear dull, check your colour space is sRGB as that is what DSI uses.

Are you editing them at all (if so on what software) or uploading them directly from the camera?

Or if you look at the camera settings for image size or quality, they often show how many pixels wide the photo is....

Then I would have a look at the files size setting on your camera....I suspect you might have it set to 640w or low res. Try taking the next lot of photos on high res.

Does the camera also create a folder of (quite big) thumbnails which you are uploading by mistake instead of the right folder?

macbook at home

I know when I burn photos to cd from my mac, if I do the burn from I-photo it will burn a tumbnails folder and a normal folder.....so.....

If you are uploading....to be certain you don't select the thumbnails....make a folder on the desktop, copy your photos from iphoto into this folder then upload from this folder. Once finished, trash the folder on the desktop. If you upload from the 'my pictures' folder option... I think that is when you get the tumbnail option.

cant see why if the file is that large its uploading at 320 * 260 pixels

other than double checking you are select the correct file (try copying one and calling it some stupid name to make sure you are selecting the right one)
