Train woman's narrow escape

A young woman had a close call in Boston, U.S. when she fell on to subway tracks, in the path of an approaching train. Other passengers alerted the train driver who managed to stop the train in time.
Police say the woman was drunk at the time of the incident.

I saw that, if I'd been the driver of the train I'd have flattened her!

Because you have bad reaction speeds or because you're evil?

About 6 weeks ag o the same thing happened at london bridge , some suit who was about 40 fell onto the tracks on the opposite platform to me, everyone just stood there shocked so I had to jump into football coach mode and start instructing people to pull the cunt up as a train was coming , it was worrying that
a:- people did not have clue what to do
b:-the useless steward type people who are there to assist , didnt know what to do and then when people had finally got him up onto the platform , the little yellow jacketed idiots were just going to let him on his way, again I had to tell them to get him out of the station.

On most major station platforms there are direct line telephones that the station staff use to speak to the signaller. They are marked with a black and white striped sticker. If this happens again, find one and tell the signaller clearly and concisely what has happened and on which platform, he will protect the line from trains to the best of his ability.

If there are not intermediate telephones, there should be one on or a few yards in front of almost every signal.
