BRING BACK MATTER!
Although I love the thought of going to 'Warehouse Parties', (it brings back the feeling of 90's raves and nostalgia) I'm soon reminded why I actually prefer clubs for these for sorts of events. This particular venue was ok but had two arches that were exactly the same size. When you have two main drawcard acts playing one after the other in one room, you know what's gonna happen- one room will empty and the other so full that those who made it there a little too late simply could not get in!

In saying this though, from what I managed to hear of Prydz and Borrato, it wasn't exactly much to write home about. Borrato pretty much played everything off his last 'Renaissance' album and Prydz sounded more like he should have played that set in Minsitry of Sound rather than a 'Warehouse'! I was impressed by the dj's in the other room, even though I had no idea who they were. Their brand of techno and dark progressive DID suit the venue/party quite well. I have to say there was anice mix of people and lovely to see so many familar faces.

I note from this posting in DSI that this night was originally planned for Matter and I for one am gutted that it's gone. The large main room, abundance of chill out space (with seats not a dirty floor!) and a good sized 2nd room would have been perfect for the event. It's a real shame TFL couldn't get their contractors to finish the Jubilee Line upgrade a lot sooner, as when that line operates, it takes next to no time to get there.....oh well.........
