It's quite obvious, that sign which has been there for years was removed completely so it is not there any more. It does not have St James' Park written at the entrance where it always was.

Oh as in the sign wasn't removed. I thought you meant the name wasn't removed completely. You thought they would of removed it at the same time of changing the name?

I bet that confused the postmen, having a letter addressed to the Sports Direct Arena and only finding a building called St James Park.

I fully expect this to happen to many prem clubs over the next few years, including Chelsea.

The "Safety Steward" was probably there as a decoy. The man removing the sign looks dodgy - I reckon it's yet another metal theft - they've probably run out of signalling cables and war memorials to rob.
