Body Talk at The Key
Saturday 18th August
10pm – 6am

After surviving the long bleak winter of love (93 Feet East) and spring of discontent with excursions to the deepest darkest south (Brixton Jamm) and forays to the West (Cobden) and now back to the Heart of London town (The Key). Body Talk is proud to present a fat and funky as fudge one off party that will say farewell to the legendary and infamous Bagleys (Canvas) Warehouse in Kings Cross. For those who don’t know, Bagleys (Canvas) has played host to some of the finest nights out in the UK over the last 20 years with almost every DJ worth mentioning having played there at some time or another. With that in mind the Body Talk team are taking no prisoners… This aint one for faint hearted, infact, with their pioneering fresh approach to underground dance music, the Body Talk team are looking to innovate and captivate whilst celebrating the Destruction of one of London’s finest nightspots.

The main room features deep and grooving electronic warehouse sounds from Body Talk virgin Miss Jools (Clandetsino, SleeperThief). Having a reputation for laying down some of the sexiest and deepest house music available and mixing them in her own, ever faultless style, Miss Jools is supported by Body Talk’s very own Aaron Newton (Resident, Strictly Left) and Simon Kurrage (Mulletover, Strictly Left) and to ice the cake we have Brett Lawrence (Tweak, MuMu) bringing up the rear.

In the second room laying down an awesome selection of slick soulful loved up house we bring you Wookie (LoveStar, Defected). Also representing we have Sy Sez (Fanatix, Unknown FM) another Body Talk Virgin, shedding his own sweet touch of harmony to the decks and finally Karl Gonzalez (Playerz, Strictlyleft) who is no stranger to the Body Talk vibe… what more could you ask for???

In room three we bring you talent from some of London’s finest independent production outfits and club nights. Mr Shiver (Unsung Heroes), whose Size Doesn’t Matter parties have rocked venues all over London this year is complimented by the unconquerable breakbeats of David Minns (Read the Crowd). Holding it all together is Paddy Freeform (Universal Vibes). You can expect to hear the unexpected from these 3 fine examples of eclectic genius… dance till your dazed, crazed and amazed.
