Darren-Holland	can u believe this shit and eyt more evidence that most of frankie boys goals come from dead balls.....Bollocks was that a penalty!!!! the ref was right there for fucksakes...anyway torres' goal thats the way to start your home anfield debut...tal haim???? Chelski did deserve somethin however and for once you gave wright phillips the start and he looked your most dangerous player and I am well impressed with malouda but that was NO penalty and you blues fuckin know it...we will do u at the bridge watch!!!! DJ-N	it was never a penalty.....and from that point forward - RobStyles lost all control - he definately booked Essien a second time - so there were two big fuck ups......but as others have mentioned - we've had our fair share of the bad decisions up there - so it's nice that one went our way...... SYKEE	I dunno if I'm the only one, but I thought it was a penalty! He blatently took Malouda out of his run forward and checked him, to make his fall over. I dont give a fuck what anyone else thinks. If it was up by the half way line, the ref would have blatently gave it, and I think he was right to give it when it happened in the penalty area aswell. Reply Quote Posted Mon 20 Aug 2007

Neatandtidy	It wasnt a pen but like many of the other comments on here - players are diving all over the place these days..the ref was a twat -he should have clocked it - anyway Rob Stiles has apparently been dropped from Premier league duty after yesterdays game. Incidentally he has also apologised to Liverpool so clearly he agrees it was never a penalty....anyway it wouldnt be a Liverpool v Chelsea game without some controversy would it! I cant believe all the fuss about this decision!

If a player goes down in the box, and a player is within touching distance, and it looks like they crossed eachother, then I can understand the reason for giving it.

If it was up by the half way line, they may have played advantage, and then (I think itwas Drogba) would have been clean on goal to smash it home anyway.
But, more often than not, if its in the penalty area - penaltys are usually given.
